Genesis 3

If you have a palera1n-compatible iOS 15.0-15.7.2 device and you’d like to have a do-it-all jailbreak tweak that prevents you from installing a ton of smaller tweaks to accomplish the same result, then look no further than the new Genesis 3 tweak.

With Genesis 3, you can customize your Home Screen, Lock Screen, Status Bar, system animations, and more. The developer plans to add support for more features in upcoming updates, so it’s worth paying attention to.

iOS 16.2 unsigned

iOS 16 firmware downgrade

Apple on Tuesday stopped signing iOS & iPadOS 16.2, just eight days after releasing iOS & iPadOS 16.3 to the general public.

This move prevents ordinary firmware downgrades via iTunes and keeps users on pre-iOS or iPadOS 16.2 firmware from upgrading to iOS or iPadOS 16.2 without jumping through hoops.

You can learn more about this change in our full news post.

ResSet16

ResSet16 for MacDirtyCow.

ResSet16 is a new app for MacDirtyCow-susceptible devices that allows the end user to change their handset’s resolution to be something other than the native one Apple intended.

The app works by allowing the user to select a resolution from another device and apply it to their current one or entering a custom resolution of their own. Some resolutions look okay, while others just look crazy. It’s fun to toy around with.

You can learn more about ResSet16 and how it works in our full review post.

VanishBar

Because of recent changes to the MacDirtyCow exploit, this modification persists after a reboot.
