Linus Henze releases Fugu15 jailbreak

Linus Henze demos the Fugu15 jailbreak on iOS 15.4.1.

Renowned security researcher Linus Henze released the Fugu15 jailbreak for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 on Monday with support for arm64e devices (iPhone XS and later).

Fugu15 is primarily intended for developers and won’t be developed any further, but by being released and open-sourced, the information may prove helpful to other jailbreak developers who are working on iOS or iPadOS 15 jailbreaks.

TrollStore becomes more stable in latest anti-crash updates

TrollStore was updated to version 1.3.1 and then subsequently to version 1.3.2 on the same day to address a duo of app crashes that users had been experiencing.

One of those crashes appeared to happen when tapping on the cancel button on an app install alert pop-up, while the other appeared to occur when users were taking advantage of the bolt text feature in iOS & iPadOS.

TrollStore also received updates to versions 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 this week, mostly to add support for installing and perma-signing Linus Henze’s Fugu15 jailbreak app for iOS 15. You can learn more about these updates in our additional news post.

Just before today, a final update to version 1.3.5 addressed a few miscellaneous bugs in the software.

TrollTools updated to version 2.1

TrollTools updated to version 2.1.

TrollTools, a popular app to sideload and perma-sign with the TrollStore utility, has been updated to version 2.1 with a bevy of user experience-enhancing features that will make users more excited to use the app.

TrollTools allows users to do things such as customize their Home Screen’s app icons, customize their passcode buttons, and customize their notification badges, all with or without a jailbreak.

In addition to closing the signing window for iOS 16.0.3, the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple stopped signing iOS & iPadOS 15.7 on Friday to prevent those who upgraded to iOS or iPadOS 15.7.1 from being able to downgrade their firmware using ordinary means.
