TrollStore gets updated to version 1.3.1 with additional bug fixes

TrollStore, the popular perma-signing utility by iOS developer opa334 for iPhones and iPads running iOS & iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some iOS 15.5 betas) was updated to version 1.3.1 on Sunday.

The update comes just one day after the release of TrollStore version 1.3, which was a substantial feature update to the utility to make installing and perma-signing apps even easier than it already was.

The version 1.3.1 update was announced early this morning on Twitter to fix a crash when tapping the cancel button on an app install alert and fix installing .ipa files (apps) from iCloud Drive when using the in-app option.

In the announcement Tweet, opa334 conceded that there is another known bug where the TrollStore app may crash if pasting stuff into the URL field of the “Install from URL” option, but a fix will come as soon as the developer receives crash logs to learn what’s causing this to happen. That said, we should expect another update soon.

Bug fixes are always good, especially when it comes to crashing issues, which is why we recommend this version 1.3.1 update to all existing TrollStore users. It can be installed with ease by visiting the OTA (over the air) updating mechanism in the TrollHelper app.

Alternatively, those who haven’t installed TrollStore yet can visit the developer’s GitHub page to acquire everything they need. The following step-by-step tutorials can guide you through the process of installing TrollStore on your device from there:

TrollStore has become a popular hack for compatible devices, especially in this long wait for an iOS & iPadOS 15 jailbreak. The app lets users install and permanently sign .ipa files with the help of a CoreTrust bug, and they have elevated privileges when compared to ordinary apps, which means they can be used to customize iOS in various ways.
