Download 18 stunning new 2026 iPad mini wallpapers for your iPhone or Android device, featuring the word “mini” in a sleek, eye-catching Liquid Glass design.
iPad mini (A20 Pro) wallpapers
Apple unveiled the thin, powerful new iPad mini last week, powered by the A20 Pro chip. It’s the first iPad with an official water- and dust-resistance rating (IP67). But it’s been criticized for its 60Hz display and a starting price of $699!
That said, the display gets an upgrade from previous generations, and the new iPad mini now rocks an OLED Super Retina XDR screen for even better colors and darker blacks.
It would have been great if Apple introduced some new wallpapers to celebrate the improved display, but we still get the same wallpaper that spells ‘mini.’
While the wallpaper design is similar to the old iPad mini wallpapers from 2021, the color scheme has subtle differences. The old iPad mini wallpapers used flat color gradients, but the new ones update them for Liquid Glass, with touches of white on the curves that create a cool, 3D-ish light effect.
Inspired by the refreshed iPad mini wallpapers, @moondr1 has created several custom variations by subtly tweaking the colors to offer a wider range of options and cater to different tastes. He has a history of posting super cool wallpapers on his X account, so definitely check it out. Additionally, to circumvent X’s compression, he also posts original high-quality wallpapers on his Telegram channel; give that a quick look as well. You will find a couple more versions of these wallpapers there.
But before you get to @moondr1’s version, here are two official iPad mini wallpapers, called Ember and Cobalt, thanks to @aaronp613.

While these iPad mini wallpapers are nice, I still prefer the colorful infinite loops wallpaper Apple shipped with the iPad Air (4th and 5th generations). Here’s a quick preview.
