Apple’s new handset comes in two new colorways, Night Sky and Star White. This collection of iPhone Duo Night Sky focused wallpapers uses the moody night time stock background as inspiration. iPhone Duo’s darker variant is a beautifully deep, rich blue that the term “navy-blue” just wouldn’t express. These iPhone Duo Night Sky wallpapers honor that complexity.

A nine download collection was selected from unsplash.com, an online photographer community which hosts license free content. When searching for appropriate options, originally I set out looking for dark blue or near black images. I suppose not-coincidentally, many actual night sky images appeared in the search results.
My favorite of the downloads, are listed first and second. In position one, a lake is set at the foothills over a mountain chain. The dark scene is contrasted only by a bright cloudy sky. Second, the Milky Way Galaxy is viewed from Primorsky Krai, Russia.
It is my current, one-week-into-the-experience, belief that using a square image is best for iPhone Duo wallpapers. With dimensions that are larger than either longest length on the iPhone Duo, these square photographs can be set in any of the many orientations.
