Badger is a new jailbreak tweak for customizing notification badge aesthetics

Some people like iOS’ badge notification system, and some people hate it. Regardless of which of those camps you reside in, a newly released jailbreak tweak called Badger by iOS developer 0xilis promotes a wealth of customization that you’d be hard-pressed to find in any other single jailbreak tweak.

Assuming badge notifications aren’t generally your forte, Badger might be the only jailbreak tweak capable of changing your mind. That’s because you can use this tweak to transform how badges look, configure when they appear, and command how they behave.

In the screenshot examples above, you’ll see that we were able to change the position of the badge, colorize it, change its size, and modify its shape, among other things. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg…

Once installed, Badger adds a dedicated app to the Home Screen where you can configure a slew of different notification badge-oriented options:
