Jailbreak tweaks of the week: ClassicFolders 3, DontEatMyContent, SMSStats 3, & more…

Jailbreaking gives iPhone and iPad users a lot of different reasons to get excited. For instance, you can add new features and customizability to a device that stock handset owners could only dream of.

Every weekend, iDB rounds up all the content we share throughout the week so that no one misses a beat, and today is no different. Today’s roundup encompasses content spanning the week of Monday, September 19th to Sunday, September 25th.

Following our traditional customs, we’ll kick this thing off by showcasing our favorite jailbreak tweak releases first and then post an outline style of everything else afterward. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Our favorite releases this week

ClassicFolders 3 – $1.99

For those who wish that the iPhone and iPad’s Home Screen folders still had the same sensical aesthetics that they had in the iOS 6 days, the ClassicFolders 3 jailbreak tweak can help.

It rids you of those ridiculous full-screen Home Screen folders and replaces them with expandable folders so that you aren’t dedicating so much of your device’s display to a simple folder. Moreover, ClassicFolders 3 comes with UI customization that even iOS 6 didn’t have, putting it a few steps above.

You can learn more about ClassicFolders 3 and how it works in our full review post.

DontEatMyContent – FREE

For some reason, a small subset of notched iPhones exhibit a problem in which the notch slightly bites into the frame of 2:1 aspect ratio videos played via the YouTube app.

DontEatMyContent is a free jailbreak tweak that can fix this problem on affected handsets by moving the video playback frame below the part of the display where the notch begins.

You can learn more about DontEatMyContent and why you should consider this tweak in our full review post.

SMSStats 3 – FREE

If you’ve ever been curious as to how many messages you send and receive with individual people, whether they’re iMessages or SMS messages, then a free add-on called SMSStats 3 could be right up your alley.

With this tweak, you’ll be able to view statistics for individual participants in any conversation regarding how many sent, received, and total messages have involved you and that person. Best of all, it sorts them by iMessage and SMS, just in case you like additional information.

You can learn everything you need to know about SMSStats 3 in our full review post.
