The new Live Text Enabler jailbreak tweak by iOS developer PoomSmart enables the native Live Text feature on unsupported devices that are running iOS 15 and jailbroken by way of palera1n.

With this tweak, a simple software boolean variable is switched from false to true, showing us just how petty Apple was in limiting Live Text to newer devices in an effort to make them seem more appealing to potential buyers.

Add a mute button to YouTube

Add a mute button to the YouTube app’s playback interface with YouMute.

The new YouMute jailbreak tweak adds a dedicated mute and unmute button to the YouTube app’s media playback control interface whether the app is in landscape or portrait orientation.

This is much more convenient than fiddling with the volume buttons when you want to quickly mute it unmute a video during playback, and it even remembers your last volume state when you’re ready to unmute.

iOS 16.1.2 released

Apple releases iOS 16.1.2.

Apple released iOS 16.1.2 on Wednesday to improve Crash Detection on iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. The update also alleged to improve cellular network compatibility on all handsets.

It’s worth noting that iOS 16.1.2 is not yet jailbreakable, so prospective jailbreakers should avoid updating and instead stay on the lowest possible firmware.
