Jailbreak tweaks of the week: CCSIM, Echo, & more…

Although the wait for an iOS & iPadOS 15 jailbreak continues, the good news is that development is underway. In the meantime however, iDB is happy be here this wonderful Sunday morning to share what’s new with respect to the jailbreak community.

In today’s roundup, we’ll be showcasing all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and relevant jailbreaking news spanning the week of Monday, August 15th to Sunday, August 21st.

Like every roundup we bring you on Sundays, we’ll kick this thing off with a discussion about our favorite releases from this week first and then wrap things out with an outline of everything else afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

CCSIM – FREE

When you utilize the iPhone’s dual SIM capabilities, you quickly realize how cumbersome it can be to toggle your secondary or primary carrier.

CCSIM makes this process easier by adding a no-nonsense toggle right to the Control Center interface, making it easy to toggle whichever carrier you need without having to navigate the cellular preference pane in the Settings app.

You can learn more about CCSIM and what you can do with it in our full review post.

Echo – $2.00

Echo is a slick new jailbreak tweak for pwned iOS 14 devices that ports the enhanced iOS 16-style Now Playing widget user experience.

Echo is more than just a port, it’s also highly configurable. You can give it the color scheme you want to look at every time you listen to music, which means you don’t have to compromise on a stock look.

You can learn everything you need to know about Echo and what it lets you do in our full review post.
