Jailbreak tweaks of the week: YTShortsProgress, Data Spoofing add-ons, & more…

With so much happening in the Apple world lately, it’s easy to get distracted and miss important jailbreak news and software releases. That’s why we’re here again this weekend to help keep you in the loop about what’s happening throughout the busy work week.

In today’s roundup, we’ll be discussing all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and related content spanning the week of Monday, September 26th to Sunday, October 2nd. As usual, we’ll begin by showcasing our favorite releases from this past week, and then we’ll dive into everything else in an outline format afterward.

So if you’re ready to see what’s been happening, then you’re in the right place. Let’s get started!

Our favorite releases this week

YTShortsProgress – FREE

YTShortsProgress is a no-brainer if you ever watch Shorts in the YouTube app, and that’s primarily because it adds the one thing the YouTube development team appears to have forgotten about: a progress bar.

You can view a progress bar in any non-Shorts video in the YouTube app, so it’s nice to have the same feature for Shorts.

If you agree, then you find out more about YTShortsProgress in our full review post.

Everything else from this week

Best Data Spoofing Jailbreak Tweaks: We show you what we believe are some of the best jailbreak tweaks for spoofing data on iOS & iPadOS 14.

Cardio: A new app called Cardio can be installed on devices via TrollStore to customize the background images of Apple Pay cards.

Filza File Manager: TIGI Software released a new version of Filza File Manager this week that is fully compatible with non-jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 devices via TrollStore.

iOS 16.0 & 16.0.1 Unsigned: Apple stopped signing iOS 16.0 & 16.0.1 on Thursday, a move that prevents iPhone users from downgrading from the newer iOS 16.0.2 release.

TrollStore: TrollStore received a minor update with bug fixes and improvements, bringing the utility up to version 1.1.1.

We’ve unfortunately reached the end of this weekend’s jailbreak roundup, but iDB will continue to cover all the latest jailbreak news and developments in the coming week so that you can always be in the know. And if you do happen to miss those developments, we’ll be right back next weekend with a roundup just like this one.
