Jailbreak tweaks of the week: TimeJump, YTNoPaidPromo, & more…

iDB is proud to bring our readers yet another jailbreak-based roundup that goes over all the latest content spanning the course of this past week — that is, Monday, June 27th to Sunday, July 3rd.

As always, we’ll kick off this roundup with a discussion of our favorite jailbreak tweak releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward. So without further ado, let’s hop right into it.

Our favorite releases this week

TimeJump – FREE

Do you battle with chronic lateness? If so, then you could probably benefit from setting your iPhone’s Lock Screen clock a bit fast to help make things seem more urgent than they really are.

TimeJump is a free jailbreak tweak that lets you do exactly that, and it doesn’t affect the systemwide time anywhere else in the operating system. So the next time you’re running 10 minutes late, you’ll actually be on time and won’t even realize it.

You can learn more about TimeJump and how it works in our full review post.

YTNoPaidPromo – FREE

YTNoPaidPromo is a simple jailbreak tweak that prevents the YouTube app from displaying those spammy “Includes Paid Promotion” banners over certain videos when you’re trying to watch them.

With it, you’ll have one less thing in your way when you’re trying to pay attention to video content.

You can learn more about YTNoPaidPromo in our full review post.

Other releases this week

Unlocker: Prevents your iPhone from locking when it falls asleep (free via WilsonTheWolf’s repository – review)

WinPass: Allows the user to have a Windows XP-inspired Lock Screen on their jailbroken iPhone ($1.49 via Havoc repository – review)

Everything else from this week

Best Pokémon Jailbreak Tweaks: iDB shows you what we believe are some of the best jailbreak tweaks for Pokémon fans on iOS & iPadOS 14.

Odyssey Team: The Odyssey Team released a new package called taurine-permanent that utilizes Zhuowei Zhang’s recent PoC to sign the iOS 14-based Taurine jailbreak app indefinitely.

Zhuowei Zhang: A security researcher has released a new CoreTrust PoC that allows apps sideloaded onto iOS & iPadOS 14.0-15.4 to be signed indefinitely.

That wraps things up for this week’s jailbreak-centric roundup, but we’ll keep up the jailbreak news coverage even as your busy life goes on so that you can stay up to date even when you can’t monitor all the latest releases yourself.
