Jailbreak tweaks of the week: 3DAppVersionSpoofer, WinPass, & more…

Wondering what’s new in the jailbreak community lately? You’re definitely not alone, and while the continued wait for an iOS & iPadOS 15 jailbreak has certainly slowed things down as far as releases go, iDB is happy to provide a roundup of all the latest content from this past week so you can ensure you haven’t missed a beat.

In this roundup, we’ll discuss all the latest jailbreak tweaks and related news content spanning the week of Monday, June 20th to Sunday, June 26th. As always, we’ll begin by showing you our favorite tidbits first and then wrap up at the end with an outline of everything else.

So let’s dive right in!

Our favorite releases this week

3DAppVersionSpoofer – FREE

3DAppVersionSpoofer is a new and free jailbreak tweak that allows the end user to use process hooking to spoof the version of a particular app installed on their iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 13 or 14.

With it, you can use a 3D Touch or Haptic Touch gesture on the desired app and then enter the version number you want to use. This can help prevent some forms of nagware from attempting to force you to update your app(s).

You can learn more about 3DAppVersionSpoofer and how it works in our full review post.

WinPass – $1.49 with 7-day free trial

WinPass is a jailbreak tweak that allows iPhone jailbreakers to experience a Windows XP-inspired Lock Screen and login interface.

With it, a Windows XP-styled window asks the user to enter their passcode as the Windows XP password, while displaying a user-configurable username.

You can learn more about WinPass and what it can do in our full review post.
