The palera1n jailbreak team announced this past week that the palera1n semi-tethered checkm8 bootrom exploit-based tool would soon come to the Apple TV.

The TUI was made by iOS developer HAHALOSAH, the maker of nekoJB, and makes the interface more approachable by the average end user.

It’s unknown why Apple started signing this firmware again, but it’s almost certain to be unsigned again shortly.

You can learn more about this ‘signing party’ in our full news post.

Semaphorin

Semaphorin is a new checkm8 bootrom exploit-based blobless downgrade and jailbreak utility for older devices.

Currently, the supported device list is rather limited and there are a ton of prerequisites and caveats, and while this isn’t recommended for the ordinary iPhone user, it’s neat that it exists.

Atlas Lite

I really like the double tap to skip forward and backward in the YouTube app; so much so, perhaps, that I feel a little upset that the stock iOS video player doesn’t include them.

Fortunately, an iOS developer has created the free Atlas Lite jailbreak tweak to incorporate a similar gesture to the stock iOS video player, and that makes me and several others like me very happy.

You can learn more about Atlas Lite and how it works in our full review post.

PhoneEnhancer 15

PhoneEnhancer 15 examples.

PhoneEnhancer 15 is a new jailbreak tweak that improves the native Phone app on jailbroken iPhones by giving users highly requested features.

Hide “Unknown Part” Prompt

Example of a replaced part appearing in Settings UI

If you’ve ever replaced an iPhone or iPad part with a third-party component, you’ve probably been shamed by the Settings app for not paying the Apple tax for a first-party component with the “Unknown Part” message.

The replaced jailbreak tweak hides this message.

You can learn more about replaced in our full review post.
