Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Amber, Satellite, & more…

Lots of prospective jailbreakers continue to wait for the release of an iOS or iPadOS 15 jailbreak, and with lots of things happening behind the scenes, it’s anybody’s guess as to when that might happen.

Fortunately, iDownloadBlog works around the clock to keep its readers apprised of the latest information, and this weekly jailbreak roundup is a testament to that goal.

This week’s roundup will showcase all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and jailbreak-centric news spanning Monday, February 28th to Sunday, March, 6th. As usual, we’ll showcase our favorite stuff first and then outline everything else afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Amber – FREE

Amber is a free jailbreak tweak that makes it possible for jailbreakers to utilize their rear-facing LED flash’s Amber-colored diode instead of only the white one.

To use it, users can swipe up in the expanded flashlight Control Center module to switch between three modes.

You can learn more about Amber and how it works in our full review post.

Satellite – FREE

I really like it when jailbreak developers are receptive to porting features from newer versions of iOS and iPadOS to older, jailbroken versions, so it should come as no surprise that you’ll see me rooting for the new Satellite jailbreak tweak.

In essence, this tweak ports iOS 15’s Do Not Disturb user experience to pwned iOS 14 devices, and it also brings the missing Status Bar icon that we all wish Do Not Disturb would have so we’d stop forgetting it on.

You can learn everything you need to know about Satellite and how it works in our full review post.

Other releases this week

StopShortcutsUntitledPrompt: Prevents the Shortcuts app from prompting you to name unfinished Shortcuts before they’re even finished (free via zachary7829’s repository – review)
