Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Grosou, LanPlayiOS, Snoverlay 2, & more…

It’s Christmas weekend, but that hasn’t stopped your friends at iDownloadBlog from compiling our weekly jailbreak tweak and news roundup!

In this week’s edition, we show you all the latest jailbreak tweaks and jailbreak centric news breaks that happened between Monday, December 20^th and Sunday, December 26^th.

As usual, we’ll start our piece by showcasing some of our favorite releases from the past week and then wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward. So let’s dive in!

Our favorite releases this week

Grosou – FREE

Grosou is a nice jailbreak tweak that lets you add a module to Control Center for toggling soothing sounds. These are particularly useful for drowning out more annoying sounds around you.

In addition to offering a mood and productivity boost, these soothing sounds are configurable and easy to access from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad without any app necessary.

LanPlayiOS – FREE

LanPlayiOS is a new app for jailbroken iPhones and iPads that lets users join and utilize an online server for LAN-based multiplayer on their Nintendo Switch.

After installing the app, users can join and configure a server in the app and then tinker with their Nintendo Switch’s DNS and IP settings to get the ball rolling.

Metamorphosis – $1.49

Metamorphosis is a jailbreak tweak that combines the features of two previously released tweaks called Firefly and SnapOn.

In essence, these tweaks offer different aesthetics for incoming notifications, including a colored back glow and notification dots.

Snoverlay 2 – FREE

Snoverlay 2 is a free jailbreak tweak that adds animated snowflake effects to your iPhone or iPad’s user interface.

Once installed, you can keep everything how it comes out of the box, or customize how and where the snowflakes appear.

HideSerialNumber: Hides your handset’s serial number and other sensitive piece of information from the About page of your Settings app for screen recordings and screenshots (free via ichitaso’s repository – review)

Invisibe Typing: Hides your typing status indicator from other Discord app users (free via Donato’s repository – review)

WaggleTunes: A highly customizable and floating music player for your jailbroken iPhone or iPad (free via Packix repository – review)
