Jailbreak tweaks of the week: PowerReach, YTOLED, & more…

Although jailbreak tweak releases were somewhat lean this past week, the community made up for that with what felt like a substantial amount of exciting jailbreak-centric news breaks.

From Taurine becoming open-sourced to a variety of updates for important jailbreak-related packages, this is a roundup you won’t want to miss.

In this roundup, we’ll go over our favorite jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, August 30th to Sunday, September 5th first, and then wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Our favorite releases this week

PowerReach – $1.29

The Reachability interface on iPhones can be useful for one-handed usage, especially on larger displayed handsets. But it leaves a lot of wasted space behind at the top of the screen.

PowerReach fills the aforementioned empty space with something useful that can be configured by the end user based on their needs. More specifically, it provides access to device information and shortcuts to power options.

You can learn more about PowerReach and how it works in our full review post.

YTOLED – $1.49

The YouTube app offers a Dark Mode for users, but it’s not quite as dark as the other apps provided by Apple on the iOS platform.

YTOLED is a new jailbreak tweak that gives the YouTube app’s Dark Mode a true black aesthetic, making it more pleasant to look at on OLED-equipped displays.
