Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Dr4w, SmartDND, YellowPages, & more…

For the jailbreak community, a lot happened this past week. From Linus Henze’s untether taking the spotlight, to various jailbreak tweaks being released and featured right here on iDownloadBlog, there’s a lot to digest.

Fortunately, we care enough about our readers to make digesting all this information as easy as possible, and that’s one of the chief reasons why we come at you every Sunday with roundups just like this one. Our goal with these posts is to bring everything together into one convenient place.

In this week’s roundup, we’ll showcase all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and jailbreak-centric news spanning the period of Monday, October 18th to Sunday, October 24th. As always, we’ll start by showcasing our favorite releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Dr4w – FREE

If you’re the IT person of your friends and immediate family and always having to show your parents and/or siblings how to do stuff on their iPhone, then Dr4w is a new jailbreak tweak that could be very helpful to you.

This tweak lets you annotate your iPhone’s display right before taking a screenshot and in the middle of screen recordings in real-time. It’s more convenient than using Markup in a log of situations.

You can learn all about Dr4w and how it works in our full review post.

RouteConfigurator – FREE

If you’ve ever wanted the freedom to designate specific audio routes for individual apps, then RouteConfigurator is the jailbreak tweak you’ve been dreaming of.

With it, you can configure audio routes on a per-app basis. For example, you could force Apple Music to play on a Bluetooth speaker by default every time and simultaneously force another app to play via AirPods every time, etc.

You can learn everything you need to know about RouteConfigurator in our full review post.

SmartDND – $1.99

One of the features that stands out the most in iOS & iPadOS 15 is the new Focus mode, which is essentially an upgraded version of Do Not Disturb with the ability to configure customized Do Not Disturb modes for various activities that only allow notifications from specific apps through, such as when you’re at work, in class, or enjoying time with the family.

SmartDND is a new jailbreak tweak that brings Focus-like functionality to jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 13 and 14 devices. With it, you can configure various Do Not Disturb presets and then toggle the one you want based on what you’re doing. It’s simple to use and works almost as good as Apple’s native implementation in iOS & iPadOS 15.

You can learn all about SmartDND and what it brings to the table in our full review post.

YellowPages – FREE

Scam calls are ringing at record highs, and cell phone companies are doing so very little to prevent it. That said, end users are being forced to drop dime and pay for call filtering apps that they shouldn’t need.

YellowPages is a free jailbreak tweak that can help users identify spam phone numbers right from the Phone app. The tweak performs number lookups from just about all aspects of the interface and uses the Truecaller app as its data source.

You can learn more about YellowPages and how it can improve your Phone app experience in our full review post.
