Some partnerships take time before the fruits of the effort come to life. In this case, it's the multi-year partnership between Apple and Skydance Animation. The two companies announced the deal back in February of this year, and it wasn't until April that we saw the first look at an upcoming short film called Blush.

Today, Apple TV+ has shared the trailers for both Puppy Place and Get Rolling With Otis. The former of the pair is based on a Scholastic best-seller of the same name, which was written by Ellen Miles. The series is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 15, 2021. It's a scripted series, where people try to find "fur-ever" homes for puppies that need them.
Back in January of 2019, word surfaced that Apple had given the go-ahead for a full series order to a "large budget sci-fi series" from the co-producer of the X-Men films, Simon Kinberg. Unfortunately, some production delays hit the show pretty hard, and it wouldn't be until November of 2020 that production would get back into gear. At the time, though, we did get a look at the cast, with Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) set to lead.
