Michiel Huisman enlists with Luke Evans in Apple TV+ thriller series ‘Echo 3’

Things continue to develop for the upcoming thriller series Echo 3, which is coming to Apple TV+ at some point in the future.

The project, which is being developed by Mark Boal, the writer of the critically-acclaimed film The Hurt Locker, has been in the works for quite some time. We first reported on it back in July of 2020. At the time all we knew was that the series will be based on the Israeli series When Heroes Fly, which is a popular action-thriller in its own right. That series is also based on a novel of the same name written by Amir Gutfreund.

Andy Jassy will become Amazon’s CEO beginning July 5

A lot has happened since February of this year, so it's understandable if the fact that Amazon is getting a new CEO slipped the mind. But, it's happening! And now there's an official transition date.

Today, Amazon confirmed during a call to shareholders that Amazon will commit to the transition of a new Chief Executive Officer as of July 5, 2021. That means that Andy Jassy will be picking up the new role on that date. Amazon confirmed all of this would be happening back in February of this year.

Stephen King talks about his love for ‘Lisey’s Story’ ahead of June 4 premiere on Apple TV+

Many fans of Stephen King will know that he loves his tale Lisey's Story. It's one of the most personal stories he's ever written, and now he's adapting it for the small screen.

Ahead of its June 4 premiere on Apple TV+, Stephen King sat down in front of the camera to talk about the story. He talks, albeit briefly as the video is less than three minutes in length, about how the story is important to him as a person and a writer, and how events in his own life helped shape that story. We also get to hear from producer J.J. Abrams (Super 8), director Pablo Larraín (Ema), and Clive Owen (Children of Men).

Apple highlights participants in its Entrepreneur Camp ahead of WWDC21

This year's Worldwide Developers Conference is set to kick off on Monday, June 7, 2021. Ahead of the big day, though, Apple is taking some time to promote developers taking part in the company's Entrepreneur Camp.

Apple's never been shy about its support for developers -- especially those who release their apps in the App Store. It promotes how many jobs it has created over the years on a semi-regular basis. And part of that is its efforts to help developers learn new ways to create apps, market those apps, sell them, and more. And today, Apple is highlighting some of those developers taking advantage of one of Apple's biggest efforts.
