Jailbreak tweaks of the week: BatteryBuddy, Libellum, MediaBar14, & more…

The jailbreak community has been electrified ever since the unc0ver jailbreak picked up support for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-14.3, and with CoolStar’s Odyssey14 jailbreak right around the corner, the community still has a lot more to look forward to.

In this roundup, we’ll showcase all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and jailbreak-centric news from this past week, covering Monday, March 8th to Sunday, Match 14th. As always, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases first, and then we’ll wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

BatteryBuddy – FREE

BatteryBuddy is a newly released jailbreak tweak that themes the Status Bar’s battery icon so that it displays a dynamic facial expression that changes depending on your charging status.

As you might come to expect, the more charged the battery is, the happier it appears. It also seems happy when connected to a power source.

You can learn more about BatteryBuddy and why it’s so interesting in our full review.

Libellum – FREE

Libellum is a must-have tweak that lets jailbreakers jot down important information from the comfort of their Lock Screen without the inconvenience of authenticating their phone to get to their apps.

Whether you need a quick way to take down a note about something, a phone number, or a grocery list. In today’s mask-wearing world, authenticating to get to the Notes or Contacts app in a pinch takes too much time, resulting in missed opportunities, and so Libellum is ideal.

You can learn more about Libellum and what you can do with it in our full review.

MediaBar14 – $1.49

MediaBar14 is a new jailbreak tweak that upgrades the native Home Bar with Now Playing-centric media controls.

With it, you can control music playback from anywhere via the comfort of your Home Bar. You can even make adjustments to the Home Bar to turn it into a progress indicator.

You can learn more about MediaBar14 and how it works in our full review.

RingPercentLabel – FREE

RingPercentLabel offers a fast and easy way to upgrade your iOS 14 device’s Battery widget by integrating individual numeric battery level indicators to each item.

It’s more telling than the default ring indicators, and it looks better… wouldn’t you say?
