Psych is a minimalistic psychedelic game

When I was a kid, I loved playing Frogger. Jumping between lanes, trying to avoid cars and hopping on logs, trying to avoid crocodiles was intense and exciting. Psych uses a similar mechanic of hopping from one moving platform to another, but uses minimalist graphics to create a 21st century gaming experience.

Dreeps review: an epic RPG for those who don’t have time to play

I love role-playing games (RPGs). They are deeply involving and keep you engrossed in stories that satisfy your desire for sci-fi or fantasy fiction. However, they also take a long time to get through. As a functioning adult with a lot of responsibilities, I just don’t have time to play very many RPGs all the way to the end.

Dreeps: Alarm Playing Game is perfect for gamers that just don’t have time to do the work to get through the story in RPGs. All you do is set an alarm and your young adventurer will go on his quest to save the world whether you are there or not. We’ve got a hands-on (or is it hands-off?) game review of dreeps for you today.

‘Hook’ review: a puzzle game you’ll get hooked on

Relaxation puzzle games are great for winding down at the end of a long and taxing day. They can put you into a Zen-like mood and help you wash the stress of the day out of your mind.

“Hook” is one of the most relaxing puzzle games I’ve ever played. It features complex challenges, but has no time restrictions or scoring, so you don’t feel any pressure, just levelheaded enjoyment. We’ve got a game review of “Hook” for you today.

Rocket Cars drives its way into the App Store

Racing games are a lot of fun, but there are so many of them that it is difficult to find ones that really stand out. Some companies make hyper realistic graphics. Others hope to win you over with popular licensing.

Rocket Cars features miniature RC style racers that have the ability to get maximum levels of speed thanks to rocket power. Play through a career campaign to become the top racer in Game Center.

Build your own platformer levels with Adventure Time Game Wizard

If you’ve ever had a secret wish to be a game designer, you are not alone. Many of us wish we were creative enough to make a game that could bring the world together, but just don’t have the talent or time.

Adventure Time Game Wizard is a platformer based on the popular Cartoon Network series that lets you actually draw your own levels and then import them into the game and play them.

Apple names ‘Shades’ puzzler its free App of the Week

Apple has just named UOVO’s ‘Shades: A Simple Puzzle Game‘ its App of the Week for this week. This means that from now through next Thursday, you’ll be able to download the zen-like puzzler for both iPhone and iPad for free—which will save you a solid $1.99.

Released in September of last year, Shades is one of those puzzle games that's easy to pick up and play, but tough to master. The premise should sound familiar to Tetris fans: move falling blocks into position to combine blocks, clearing rows as quick as possible.

Building upon its existing ports of the popular Japanese franchise, Square Enix has now released Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride on iOS.

The role-playing game is a direct port of the 1992 Super Famicom game that follows a story of a young boy who travels the world with his father, Pankraz. And when he becomes a man, the main protagonist resolves to continue his father’s unfinished quest to find the Legendary Hero.

Apple Watch gets its first game, a cute word puzzler from NimbleBit

In case you had any doubts — yes, some developers are busy writing their first games for the Apple Watch.

But first, let's get something straight: because Watch apps will initially run as extensions on your iPhone that stream image assets and UI back to your wrist, don't expect to see graphics-rich shooters playable on your wrist anytime soon.

With that off our back, puzzlers seem like a really good fit for a wrist-worn device like the Watch.

And sure enough, as reported by TouchArcade, a developer that goes by the name of NimbleBit is planning to release Letterpad, an upcoming word puzzler for the iPhone and iPad, with support for the Apple Watch.

Wanna see how it's going to look and feel like? Read on for the full reveal.

When it comes to puzzle games, spatial reasoning 3-D titles will always grab my attention, especially if they have great graphics and plenty of puzzles to challenge my brainpower.

Shadowmatic is a puzzle game that asks players to think about the world in 360 degrees in order to turn shapes into objects. We’ve got a full game review of Shadowmatic for you today.
