How to send Nintendo Switch screenshots to your iPhone

Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch

If you love playing games on your Nintendo Switch as much as I do, then you probably already know about the handy screenshot feature. Maybe you capture shots of high scores or levels you’ve tackled. And while it’s great you have an album to see all your screenshots, maybe you’d like to do a bit more with them.

You might want to post those awesome gaming moments on social media. You may want to brag to a pal that you got further in the game than they did. Or, you might even want to help a friend who is new to a game by showing them how to do something.

Whatever the reason, you can take those Nintendo Switch screenshots and plop them right onto your iPhone. From there you can send, share, post, or do whatever you like with them. Here’s how it’s done.

Astolfo lets jailbreakers apply custom backgrounds to Siri in iOS 14

I really like what Apple has done with the Siri interface in iOS & iPadOS 14 — especially when compared with iOS & iPadOS 13 and earlier. The new interface doesn’t take up as much space and has a more aesthetically pleasing interaction button, but in Apple’s typical fashion, even the new interface lacks user-driven customization.

Those looking to do more with the Siri interface are likely to give the nod of approval to a free jailbreak tweak called Astolfo, which was recently updated with iOS & iPadOS 14 in mind by iOS developer Litten. As some may remember, the tweak was originally worked on by Nepeta.

Target, the eighth-largest retailer in the United States, will attempt to increase its revenue derived from selling Apple products by expanding Apple gadget offerings, both in its brick-and-mortar stores and online. This new Apple initiative is part of Target's existing strategy to house popular brands at its stores in an attempt to attract more customers to its locations.

A cringey Facebook video tries to sell the idea of privacy-breaching personalized ads

Facebook has launched a new campaign to tell the world that small businesses operating on its social platforms rely heavily on personalized advertising. It includes a video, titled “Good Ideas Deserve To Be Found,” featuring Houston-based fashion brand House of Takura. The company omits the fact that targeted advertising available on its platforms is a result of massive privacy breaches. Facebook is vehemently opposing Apple's upcoming App Tracking Transparency initiative that will require iOS apps to seek user permission to track users.
