It wasn’t long after the Sileo Team released Sileo v1.1.5 with expanded Swift support that the Electra Team followed up with an updated iteration of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool.

The Electra Team announced the release of Chimera v1.1.0 just moments ago via Twitter, noting that the update would install Sileo v1.1.5 by default and resolve a particularly frustrating bug in which the Sileo app would disappear from the Home screen after jailbreaking:

Sileo v.1.1.5 released with rewritten native depictions and Featured tab based on Swift

The Sileo Team released another update for the Sileo package manager over the weekend, continuing the team’s ongoing efforts to migrate the app’s backbone from Objective-C to Apple’s Swift programming language.

The update was announced late Sunday evening, and as it would seem, Sileo v 1.1.5 brings Swift support to native package depictions and to the app’s integrated Featured tab:

Sileo updated to v1.1.4 with more Swift support, fixes for app crashes

The Sileo Team has been somewhat busy this past week, cranking out regular updates for the Sileo package manager, which handles add-on and extension installations by default on jailbreaks created by the Electra Team, including Chimera and Electra.

As it would seem, this weekend is no different. The Sileo Team announced the release of Sileo version 1.1.4 early Saturday morning via Twitter:

Chimera v1.0.9 released with minor improvements, new version of Sileo

The Electra Team released an updated version of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool on Tuesday, not long after the Sileo Team released an updated version of the Sileo package manager. Chimera v1.0.9 is now the latest version of the jailbreak tool available.

The Electra Team announced the new version of Chimera early this morning, just a few hours after the new version of Sileo was unveiled:

A tfp0 exploit has been achieved on iOS 12.2

The latest jailbreakable version of iOS at the time of this writing is iOS 12.1.2, but that could change in the very future.

iOS hobbyist @NedWilliamson Tweeted a teaser Friday afternoon of what appears to be a successful tfp0 exploit for iOS 12.2 on an iPhone 6s Plus, a feat that was purportedly made possible after working closely with long-respected security researcher Brandon Azad:

Sileo will migrate to Swift over the course of the next several updates

If you’re using either the iOS 11-based Electra jailbreak or the iOS 12-based Chimera jailbreak, each published by the Electra Team, then you just might have some exciting news ahead.

The Sileo Team announced just this morning that an upcoming slew of updates to the Sileo package manager will migrate the app from an Objective-C backbone to Apple’s Swift programming language instead:

Luca Todesco achieves tfp0 on developer beta of iOS 13

Matrix code hacked iPhone.

It was only a week ago that security researcher iBSparkes teased the Cydia package manager running on an iPhone with the first developer beta of iOS 13 installed on it, but as it would seem, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Apple deployed the second developer beta of iOS 13 just yesterday afternoon, and a new teaser shared just this morning by security researcher and Yalu jailbreak developer Luca Todesco appears to show a working tfp0 exploit running on it:

iPhone hobbyist claims to have ported iOS 13 beta 1 to the iPhone 6 [updated]

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely heard about Apple’s upcoming iOS 13 for iPhone and iPod touch (iPad gets its own new operating system dubbed iPadOS), which implements native dark mode and a plethora of other jaw-dropping features that users have been requesting from Apple for quite some time. On the other hand, the oldest handsets it supports out of the box are the iPhone SE, 6s, and 6s Plus.

In a seemingly unbelievable turn of events, however, an Apple device tinkerer with the Twitter handle @NighttigerFTW has purportedly managed to get the first iOS 13 beta running on an iPhone 6 with minimal tweaking. The full details below:

BigBoss repository now uses SHA256, paving the way for Sileo support

In an unexpected turn of events this weekend, @0ptimo added official SHA256 support to the BigBoss repository, a move that looks to appease the Sileo Team as an increasing number of people use the Electra Team’s Chimera jailbreak to take advantage of the full-fledged A12(X) support in the here and now.

Sileo Team lead developer CoolStar acknowledged the change just this evening via Twitter, noting that an upcoming update for the Sileo package manager will implement native support for the newly-upgraded BigBoss repository:

Sileo v1.1.0 released with bug fixes and code optimizations

In an unexpected turn of events Friday evening, the Sileo Team announced the release of an updated version of the Sileo package manager for the Chimera and Electra jailbreaks. The latest version of Sileo is now v1.1.0.

The Sileo Team announced the news just moments ago via Twitter, denoting what was new in the update and how it would impact users:
