‘Shot on iPhone’ continues with a pair of new videos highlighting Slo-Mo video capture

It's been a while since Apple released any new 'Shot on iPhone' work by its fans in the form of slideshow videos. This morning, however, a pair of new clips surfaced on the company's official channel on YouTube, each running fifteen seconds long and highlighting videos scenes captured on an iPhone using a slow-motion feature.

Each clip highlights work by a different user, one located in Tel-Aviv, Israel and the other in Greater Sudbury of Canada's Ontario.

France is celebrating Bastille Day today and Apple has joined the festivities with a clever use of imagery from its award-winning 'Shot on iPhone' ad campaign on the Apple France homepage. The company carefully selected a batch of images from the campaign with predominant blue, white and red tones, and used them smartly on its website to form a basis for the French national flag colors.

Here comes “Captured on Galaxy S7” ad

You don't need to be an advertising expert to figure out that the latest campaign for Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge bears striking resemblance to “Shot on iPhone,” one of Apple’s most successful ad campaigns which has won many awards since its debut nearly two years ago.

As CNET reported this morning, Samsung started airing a brand new commercial for its new Galaxies.

Titled “Captured on Samsung Galaxy S7”, the video was conceived to show off 4K video capture capabilities of the phone.

The UEFA European Football Championship kicks off on Friday, June10, and Apple's United Kingdom branch has decided to celebrate the occasion by releasing a brand new “Shot on iPhone” commercial, aptly titled “The Beautiful Game.”

The 30-second video features various photographs and videos of soccer players, fields and stadiums shot by iPhone users around the world.

Apple releases eight new ‘Shot on iPhone’ ads

Apple today posted a total of eight new commercials to its YouTube channel, each running fifteen seconds long and highlighting cherry-picked camera work by iPhone photographers from around the globe.

The ads showcase the various video capture features of the iPhone's camera, including Slo-Mo. One of the photographers actually shot his video on an airplane flight between Miami and Curaçao.

New Apple Music ads now airing, featuring DJ Khaled, Naomi Campbell and Ray Liotta

Apple last evening posted on the official Beats 1 channel on YouTube a pair of new commercials which strive to explain in layman's terms the allure of Apple Music's $9.99 per month subscription tier. Both ads feature Atlanta rapper DJ Khaled and one of them has Khaled cruising through Malibu in a Rolls-Royce Phantom with the international super model Naomi Campbell behind the wheel.

Apple reminds developers that iAd network is shutting down next month

After announcing back in January that its iAd App Network will be discontinued as of June 30, 2016, Apple today issued an email blast, a copy of which was obtained by AppleInsider, in which it reminds developers of the impending shutdown that'll bring an end to monetization revenues and app promotion.

Despite the iAd App Network going offline starting July 1, developers will still be able to earn revenue from advertising from their own direct sales or by using other third party monetization services.

Taylor Swift dances to “The Darkness” like no one’s watching in latest Apple Music ad

We've already seen pop singer Taylor Swift wipe out on the treadmill and drop a mic like a pro in a pair of amusing television commercials for Apple's $9.99 per month subscription music service. This morning, she tweeted out another short video created to promote Apple Music. “Dance like no one's watching,” reads the tweet. In the new video, Swift dances around her living room to The Darkness' song “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”.

Apple airs new iPhone 6s ad, ‘Thank You Speech,’ highlighting tetherless Siri mode

Apple on Monday aired a new television commercial for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, titled 'Thank You Speech' and starring “How I Met Your Mother” star Patrick Neil Harris (he had a cameo on Apple's recent 'Onions' ad).

The 30-second clip shows off a tetherless Siri feature that users can optionally enable on their iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus in order to converse with the personal digital assistant using the 'Hey Siri' keyword even when their device is not connected to power.

Apple makes your Mom star in ‘Shot on iPhone’ ad

Mother's Day is this Sunday and Apple is taking notice. In addition to airing a Mother’s Day-themed iPhone 6s ad and sending an email blast to remind customers to pick up an Apple Watch as a Mother’s Day gift recommendation, the company has now launched a dedicated website that lets you make your Mom appear in her own 'Shot on iPhone' film.

The interactive web app is aptly named “Moms Shot on iPhone” and is really amazing.

Mother's Day is one week from today. Apple has already sent an email blast to registered customers to remind them to pick up an Apple Watch as a Mother’s Day gift recommendation and now the company has started airing a brand new iPhone 6s television commercial, aptly titled “Mother's Day”.

The 30-second ad “celebrates motherhood through the lens of iPhone users around the world”.
