Nowadays, simulators are extremely popular. You can be a doctor, a farmer, and even bread. These games are only limited by our own imagination. However, simulation games have been around for quite a while now, even before they were this popular.

In today's retro review, we'll take a look at an old simulation game that came to the App Store almost a decade ago. Its simple and addictive style helped it become one of the best games on the iPhone at that time. In 2011 it was awarded iPhone Game of the Year.

I'm talking about Tiny Tower, a small game about building administration. This game has seen better days. In 2015 the game was removed from the App Store, only to return a year later. Now, three years after its return, it's our time to determine if the game deserved to come back or not.

Arcade review: Grindstone – a puzzler with a great pedigree

If you've been gaming for a while, you're probably familiar with the Capy Games studio. If not, you've probably played some of its games. The studio is responsible for a lot of indie games, including working with Superbrothers to bring Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, one of the best games you can experience on the iPhone, in my opinion.

Now, after a while, Capy is back with a new puzzle game, Grindstone. This game has big shoes to fill, unlike many other games on Apple Arcade. So this game lives up to the (my) expectations? Let's find out in today's Arcade review.

Just a few days ago, one of the best games on the App Store turned 9 years old. I'm talking about the famous and addictive Cut the Rope. A cute puzzle game that was first released for the iPhone back on October 4th, 2010.

These days the game has grown into a franchise, with seven games available for you to play, each filled with a bunch of levels, new mechanics and better graphics. Arcade review: Tangle Tower

Just last week I was talking about the lack of mystery games on the App Store. And now, thanks to the release of Apple Arcade, we're starting to see more of these types of games. Murder mysteries filled with puzzles, a good story, and a bunch of lies.

This is the case of Tangle Tower, a mystery game where the main murder suspect is a painting. Interesting, right? Well, get ready as we help Detective Grimoire and Sally with the mystery of Freya Fellow's murder.
