How to customize the day of the week text color on the Calendar app icon

SBCalendarColor is a just-released jailbreak tweak that brings the ability to customize the color of the name of the current day on the Calendar app icon. By default, the color of the day of the week text is red, but with SBCalendarColor installed, you can utilize a color picker to change the text to any color of your liking.

You can even use hex values to establish a precise text color if that's more up your alley. If you're looking to subtly customize your Calendar app icon without needing to rely on themes, then SBCalendarColor is a tweak worth looking into.

This webpage lets you use 3D Touch as a scale

When the iPhone 6s first debuted with 3D Touch, there were a few apps created that served as weighing scales. The apps would use the iPhone 6s' screen pressure sensitivity to translate pressure into a loosely accurate measurement of weight.

Unsurprisingly, Apple frowned upon using 3D Touch in that manner, and any such apps submitted to the App Store were removed or rejected.

Recently, another method for weighing objects using 3D Touch has appeared—the web. Obviously, Apple can't enforce its restrictions on the open web, so you're free to visit the website to inaccurately weigh objects until your heart's content.

"You know, I probably wouldn’t call it ‘the hump,'" he said, adding that Apple was well aware of the comments being made about the Smart Battery Case. He went on to talk about some of the advantages of it over competing products, such as how easy it is to attach and remove the case from your phone.

Duet Display now works on iPad Pro, lets you run iOS and Mac apps together

Duet Display, a terrific app which turns an iOS device into an external display for the Mac, has been updated in the App Store with official support for the iPad Pro and major performance improvements on both iOS and OS X.

The best thing about the updated app is its ability to allocate one-third of the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 4' display for iOS apps, with the remaining two-thirds of the screen real estate dedicated to Mac apps.

Dual-screening using an iPad Pro and Duet Display comes with zero lag, developers claim. Crafted by ex-Apple engineers who worked on the iPad and iMac, Duet Display through its desktop helper app appears as an external display hooked up to your Mac or Windows PC via the USB port.

Poll: do you still listen to Beats 1?

Beats 1 launched on Apple Music nearly six months ago to much fanfare, but today, the service doesn't seem to garner as much interest as it first did back in June. I myself listened to Beats 1 a bit, but the novelty quickly wore off, and the multiple genres played all days just didn't sit well with my specific tastes in music.

I know I haven't listened to Beats 1 in weeks, possibly months, and I am curious to see if more people feel the same way as I do, hence this poll.
