T-Mobile’s new ONE add-ons bring unlimited LTE tethering, daily HD passes & more

When T-Mobile announced its upcoming ONE service that'll give all customers “unlimited” 4G LTE data, eagled-eyed readers discovered in the fine print that mobile tethering is limited to sluggish 2G speeds, with 5GB of 4G LTE tethering sold as a $15 add-on. Today, the carrier clarified that ONE would include unlimited tethering at 3G speeds at no additional cost after all while unveiling ONE Plus upgrades with unlimited 4G LTE tethering, daily HD passes and more.

T-Mobile One gives you unlimited 4G LTE data for $70 per month beginning September 6

Just as U.S. carrier AT&T announced more affordable data plans with no overage charges, Deutsche Telekom-owned T-Mobile USA today launched One, its brand new $70 per month plan with unlimited 4G LTE data, calling and text, plus no data caps. However, if you plan on streaming high-definition video on One, that'll be an extra $25 unless you're content with video streaming in standard (DVD-like) quality in 480p.

The new plan is available for new postpaid customers beginning Tuesday, September 6 at T-Mobile stores nationwide and t-mobile.com.

You can now stream Apple Music videos via T-Mobile’s Binge On

T-Mobile customers can now stream any video content available on Apple Music through the carrier's cellular network without using up any data available in their monthly data bucket. The carrier announced today that Binge On now supports video content from Apple Music and fifteen other streaming video providers, including the sign language channel D-PAN.TV, Dish Anywhere, NAT GEO TV, various ABC, Disney and FOX apps and other providers. Binge On streamed 765 million hours of video data-free since its inception 8 months ago.

T-Mobile treats 2016 Summer Olympics attendees to unlimited 4G LTE data and calling

Deutsche Telekom-owned wireless carrier T-Mobile USA today announced that all Simple Choice postpaid customers traveling to Brazil for 2016 Summer Olympics will be treated to unlimited high-speed 4G LTE data within the country during August.

In unleashing Brazil this summer, T-Mobile's CEO John Legere noted that not only will Rio de Janeiro visitors enjoy the Summer Olympics without worrying about roaming charges, but also free calls within Brazil and to U.S. during the month of August.

MetroPCS to start selling iPhones on July 1

MetroPCS, a prepaid wireless carrier in the United States that is part of T-Mobile USA, will start selling Apple's iPhones on July 1 in a limited number of retail stores in Florida. The program should expand nationwide following the Florida launch.

According to the official announcement from T-Mobile, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available for $649 and $749, respectively

The iPhone SE and iPhone 5s will be available for $349 and $199, respectively.

T-Mobile offering free 4G data to US customers traveling in Europe this summer

Deutsche Telekom-owned carrier T-Mobile USA on Thursday announced a new promotion which gives postpaid customers free unlimited 4G LTE data across all of Europe, except Andora, between July 1 and August 31, 2016. Only postpaid customers who reside in the United States and primary use T-Mobile's US network are eligible for this promotion. In addition to free data, texting is free and calls are just 20 cents a minute throughout Europe and a host of other destinations.

Get up to $200 off any iPad when buying iPhone on installment plan from T-Mobile

T-Mobile, a Deutsche Telekom-owned wireless carrier, today revived its tabled bundle offer with a cool new deal: you can get fifty percent off up to $200 on any iPad model if you purchase a new iPhone from the carrier on an installment plan. You must purchase both an iPhone and iPad from T-Mobile in order to qualify for this time-limited promotion.

As mentioned, your iPhone purchase must be financed with T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan. The rebate is provided on a prepaid MasterCard card up to eight weeks after your purchase.

T-Mobile adds 16 new services to Binge On and Music Freedom

In another expansion, wireless carrier T-Mobile this morning added an additional sixteen services to its unlimited video streaming services, Binge On, and unlimited music streaming service, Music Freedom.

Starting today, Amazon Music, ESPN Radio and more music services stream free for T-Mobile customers.

On the video side, such services as Dailymotion, EPIX, Nickelodeon, Spike, TV Land and more are joining the list of providers streaming free to T-Mobile customers on qualifying plans with Binge On. Qualifying Simple Choice customers can stream audio and 480p video through Binge On and Music Freedom at no additional charge, without eating into their cellular data plan or worrying about overages.

T-Mobile promo takes half off any iPhone when you buy a second iPhone and add a line

In time for the new iPhone SE, which lands on store shelves tomorrow, wireless carrier T-Mobile announced a new BOGO (Buy One Get One) promotion that gives qualifying Simple Choice postpaid customers half off any iPhone when they buy a second iPhone and add a line.

Devices eligible for this promotion include all iPhones that the company currently stocks, including the new four-inch iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Certified pre-owned iPhones are not eligible for this time-limited offer, which goes live on Thursday, March 31.

T-Mobile adds nine new Binge On providers, including YouTube

T-Mobile's outspoken CEO, John Legere, announced on Thursday via a press release that Binge On, the carrier's feature that zeroes out video streaming, has added support for nine new providers, including Google-owned YouTube.

These providers are now part of Binge On initiative: Baeble Music, Discovery GO, ESNE TV, FilmOn.TV, Fox Business, Google Play Movies, KlowdTV, Red Bull TV and YouTube.

T-Mobile is offering 4 lines of unlimited LTE for $150

T-Mobile has just made its existing Family Match promotion a little more tempting. As was announced this morning, the carrier is offering data-hungry families up to four lines of unlimited LTE data for just $150 per month for the entire family, which works out to $37.5 per line.

“Now get 2 or more lines of Unlimited 4G LTE for the price of a 10GB plan, or 10GB for the price of 6GB,“ teases the carrier. And for a limited time, T-Mobile's customers on a Simple Choice Family plan can get a fourth line at no additional charge.
