Satechi’s new iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch chargers are compatible with the latest 15W Qi2 wireless charging protocol and Apple’s MagSafe.
Unveiled at CES 2024, the new 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stands can be purchased from the Satechi website starting today.
Both are certified for MagSafe and the latest Qi2 charging protocol, which brings MagSafe-like magnetic alignment and faster charging speed at 15W.
Satechi releases 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stands
Both accessories feature a circular magnetic charger for iPhone and Android phones along with a pedestal at the base to charge your AirPods at 5W. You can wirelessly charge your iPhone in either portrait or landscape orientation in StandBy Mode.
The 3-in-1 also has a dedicated Apple Watch charger that folds out from behind. It will charge your watch in Night Stand mode and allow you to fast-charge any Apple Watch model from Series 7 and Ultra onward.
They look and feel premium thanks to their aluminum design and sport a hinge mechanism Satechi claims has been tested thoroughly for durability.
The hinge not only lets you flatten the charger when traveling but also raise the arm with the charging puck to an angle that works best for video calls, movies, etc.
Other highlights:
- The charging base is made from an eco-friendly vegan leather material
- The AirPods charger has a divot to align the charging case
- A status light on the front indicates when the charger is in use
- The chargers connect to power via a USB-C port on the back
- Satechi has included a USB-C charging cable in the box
Pricing and availability
The 2-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand costs $80, and the 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand is priced at $130. In exchange, you get stylish, future-proof chargers that support the latest Qi2 standard and Apple’s MagSafe. That these things can be folded flat to take anywhere with you is a big plus.
Both accessories are only available in Satechi’s trademark space gray finish. The 3-in-1 ships with a 45W power adapter and interchangeable plugs.
