Zenumbra shows how many packages you’ve installed from each repo in Zebra

If you use the popular third-party Zebra package manager instead of Cydia for your jailbreak add-on installation needs, then you might be interested in knowing that there’s a new, free jailbreak tweak that can help you keep track of where the bulk of your packages are coming from.

Say hello to Zenumbra, a tweak created by iOS developer FoxfortMobile that displays a count of the number of tweaks you have installed from each of your repositories.

ColorMyHome lets jailbreakers add a fresh coat of paint to the Home Bar

If you have an iPhone newer than the iPhone X, except for a few select budget handsets, then you probably have a Home Bar instead of a Home Button. Apple designed it to be omnifunctional, providing users with a means of getting to the App Switcher, Home Screen, and navigating between recently used apps; but one thing they seem to have forgotten is customization.

Fortunately, jailbreakers don’t need to put up with a bland Home Bar experience. That’s because a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called ColorMyHome by iOS developer TheLazyITGuy enables Home Bar colorization on liberated handsets.

BetterQueuing unlocks powerful music-queuing features in Apple Music

If you use Apple Music as your primary means of media consumption, then you might find yourself somewhat limited by the options presented when you perform a Haptic Touch gesture on songs in a particular playlist, especially in the song-queuing department.

BetterQueuing is a newly released and free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Arandomdev1 that brings improved song-queuing capabilities to this particular interface, and as shown in the screenshot examples above, it provides users with a myriad of new ways to interact with their queued playlists with little effort overall.

MessageUnread lets users mark read messages as unread in iOS

Raise your hand if you’ve preemptively tapped on an unread conversation in your Messages app by accident before, only to find yourself too busy to read or respond to the message and later forget to look back at it because the notification indicator had disappeared as a result. *Raises hand slowly*

If you joined me in the hand raise of shame, then don’t fret because we’ve all been there before. Fortunately, a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed MessageUnread by iOS developer Greg0109 can remedy this unfortunate experience by letting users mark read conversation threads in the Messages app as unread instead.

GamingNotification brings animated RGB effects to your iPhone’s notifications

If you’re a PC gamer at heart and your entire desk is brimming with unicorn barf colored RGB accessories, then perhaps the one thing missing in your life is an iPhone decked out with the same colorful swag. Fortunately, that shortcoming can be solved with a newly released jailbreak tweak.

Enter GamingNotification, an add-on created by iOS developer Minazuki that brings configurable animated RGB borders to your iPhone’s incoming notification banners and Today widgets.

This tweak adds the proper suffix to the Lock screen’s date indicator

If you ever want to know the date or time, it’s always just a glance away thanks to your iPhone’s Lock screen. But one thing that has always bothered me is Apple’s native date formatting and display style, something that the company doesn’t seem to give users much control over on a stock handset.

FixLSDate is a newly released and free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Mikah that fixes at least one of my gripes with the Lock screen’s date display. More specifically, it completes the date string by adding the proper suffix behind it, as shown above.

This tweak hides the fire effects from Reddit comments that receive the Ignite award

While I personally enjoy using the third-party Apollo client for my Redditing needs, there are still plenty of people who’d rather use the official Reddit app as opposed to an alternative. One thing about the latter that doesn’t seem so popular among users, however, is the fire effect that appears when comments are given the Ignite award.

If you side with the camp that dislikes this effect, then you’ll be happy to know there’s a new and free jailbreak tweak called NoRedditFireEffect by iOS developer Ben Giannis that can disable it entirely.

NowPlayingIcon replaces the Music icon with Now Playing media artwork

Jailbreakers who are looking for a quick and easy way to integrate some spice into their handset’s native music listening experience will do good to check out a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called NowPlayingIcon by iOS developer LacertosusDeus.

Just as the tweak’s name implies, NowPlayingIcon replaces the app icon of your Now Playing app with the album artwork of whatever media you have playing at any given time.

WeatherModule brings weather details to the Reachability interface

It was just a few months back that we showed you a particularly interesting jailbreak tweak called Carbonite by iOS developer Antique that could be used to enrich iOS’ typically boring Reachability interface with a useful suite of shortcuts and controls. It was pretty slick right out of the box, but with the help of add-ons, it could be made even slicker.

Fast-forward to now, and Antique has officially released a new extension for Carbonite dubbed WeatherModule. Just as its name implies, WeatherModule brings local weather information to the Reachability interface via Carbonite for fast and easy reference at your leisure.

StickyNote is a macOS-inspired note-taking tweak for iOS

If you’ve ever used a Mac before, then you already know about the Stickies app that comes pre-installed by Apple from the factory. This app lets you jot down lists or thoughts directly on your desktop for easy reference later on, and it got some of us thinking… why doesn’t iOS have a feature like this?

Well now it does, and it’s all thanks to a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed StickyNote by iOS developer Gabriel Siu.

This tweak makes you solve math to shut your iPhone’s alarm off

If you use your iPhone’s alarm feature to wake up in time for class or work every morning, then you know just how easy it can be to dismiss the alarm and oversleep. Apple doesn’t seem to have any plans for making this feature more fool-proof in the future, and that’s why we’re turning our attention to a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called You Up? by iOS developer 1di4r.

In a nutshell, You Up? forces the user to solve math problems to turn their firing alarm off. The concept should sound familiar because there’ve been literally countless tweak releases in the past that could do the same thing. What You Up? brings to the table is an aesthetically pleasing interface paired with the fact that the tweak is fully open-source on the developer’s GitHub page.

This roundup will showcase all the latest jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, May 4th to Sunday, May 10th. As usual, we’ll kick things off by talking about our favorite releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.
