Is this Apple’s gold-colored iPhone 5S rear shell?

We first heard whispers of the iPhone 5S possibly including a bunch of color choices back in January. In the weeks and months leading up to Apple's upcoming September 10 announcement, the colorized iPhone 5S rumors intensified. Yesterday, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo analyst wrote in a note to clients that he has reasons to believe one of the several color choices includes a brand new golden colorway.

A French blog has posted interesting looking pictures which the website claims depict a gold-colored iPhone 5S casing. I've included the image and a few additional details after the break...

Leaked manual details Sony’s upcoming iPhone lens accessories

A Sony-focused blog called SonyAlphaRumors on Monday published a few interesting tidbits regarding upcoming Camera Live lens attachments for smartphones that incorporate a standalone sensor with Carl Zeiss optics and built-in processing chips, normally seen on $500 point-and-shoot cameras. Details were scarce initially, but now we're offered additional glimpses into the the entry-level DSC-QX10 and the high-end DSC-QX100.

Thanks to a leaked manual, we know the gadgets will include advanced features such as focus ring control and expansive storage via memory cards. Go past the fold for the full reveal...

Another supposed iPhone 5S rear shell shows modified Home button design

Another day, another iPhone "leak". With less than four weeks until Apple's September 10 event, a growing number of purported parts can be seen cropping up all over Asia.

The latest is this genuine looking backplate that shows enough tweaks and modifications not to be easily dismisses as an early iPhone 5 prototype design.

The most interesting bit about it is a slight change in the Home button assembly. It could be just Apple improving reliability of the Home button, but with all the rumors pointing to the fingerprint sensor integrated into the Home button, one never knows...

At this point, we've seen so many photos of purported budget iPhone shells that it's hard to imagine Apple not launching the handset this fall. But just in case you are still skeptical, we're adding more evidence to the pile this morning.

Though we're fairly confident that Apple will be holding an event on Tuesday, September 10 to unveil a new iPhone, we're still not exactly sure what it will present. Safe money is on a new iPhone model, the iPhone 5S, but what else?

New photos of iPad 5 front panel surface, again show thinner bezels

Back in January of this year, iLounge's Jeremy Horwitz claimed to have seen a physical model of the fifth generation iPad. He said it was "a lot smaller than one would guess was possible" with "virtually no left or right bezels."

Since then, all of the reports and part leaks we've seen have corroborated Horwitz' description. We've seen rear shells of the tablet—more than once—and a few cases, and today we have new pictures of a black front panel...

Purported next-gen iPad mini backplate shows no design change

Yesterday, we passed along a set of images depicting a backplate part the rumor-mill adamantly insists to be the rear case of Apple's upcoming fifth-generation full-size iPad. The same publication which provided those high-quality shots is back at it again, having published on Friday another batch of photographs, this time around showing off a smaller backplate in silver and made from aluminum, ostensibly for the upcoming second-generation iPad mini...

Another alleged iPad 5 rear case emerges

By all accounts, a fifth-generation iPad with iPad mini style design and skinnier side bezels should be coming this Fall.

We've already seen suspicious looking images that allegedly depict the device's rear shell, as well as a few front parts.

Plastic iPhone shell compared to 3GS, iPod touch in new hi-res video

Most of the reports we've seen over the past 6 months have suggested that Apple is going to be releasing a new, low-cost iPhone alongside its iPhone 5S this fall. And the theory has been corroborated by a mound of evidence, including a barrage of plastic iPhone shells.

With both big media, Chinese blogs and everyone and their mother in between seemingly betting on the arrival of Apple's polycarbonate-made mid-range handset later this year, small wonder purported spyshots of the device's casing have been leaking out from Far East.

iOS developer Sonny Dickson, who has previously proven himself a reliable source of information about unreleased Apple products, has been on a roll these days tweeting out a number of purported plastic iPhone images. The newest series of authentic-looking images depict several colorized plastic iPhone shells, including one comparing the current iPhone 5 to the purported less-pricey model...

Continuing the recent flurry of alleged 'budget iPhone' shell leaks, a new set of high resolution photos of the purported part have surfaced online this morning. There's several photos actually, showing various different plastic iPhone casings in newer iPod-like colors.
