Tako brings a Priority Hub-like notification experience to jailbroken iOS 14 handsets for free

In 2014, a jailbreak tweak called Priority Hub made waves when it brought Blackberry 10-inspired Lock Screen notification grouping to pwned iPhones. The concept was so popular that releases like Atmos and Axon sought to do the same on newer versions of iOS several years later.

Now that iOS 14 is the latest jailbreakable firmware, it’s unsurprising to see another developer coming out with a modern-day Priority Hub. Xyaman just this week launched a brand-new tweak dubbed Tako that does exactly that.

It’s been a bit noisier in the jailbreak community than usual this past week following the successful publicized update of Taurine v1.0.7 for iOS & iPadOS 14 with anti-bootloop mitigations and startup repair tools alongside a seriously upgraded Sileo package manager.

At the end of 2019, we showed you a jailbreak tweak called Accent that could have been used to tint various facets of the iOS or iPadOS user interface.

It provided users with a pre-defined list of colors that users could pick from to accomplish this, and while the tweak worked fabulously, the list of colors was somewhat constrained. That’s why this new release is particularly exciting.

Sileo v2.2 out of public beta, now available for everyone with countless improvements

The Sileo Team unleashed a public beta build of Sileo version 2.2 with an extensive change log this past weekend. Given all the new features and improvements that this particular version of the popular package manager encompassed, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that it energized the user base.

Those who’ve been patiently waiting for an actual public release (as opposed to a public beta build) will be excited to learn that Sileo v2.2 is now available to the masses. The update should populate for existing Sileo users upon launching the app and refreshing installed sources.
