Sileo Team launches Sileo v2.2.3 with additional bug fixes and improvements

Hot off the heels of a significant update to Sileo this past week, the Sileo Team released a second minor subsequent update for the package manager app on Friday.

The latest update to Sileo, dubbed version 2.2.3, incorporates a small list of bug fixes and improvements that users are sure to appreciate.

The Sileo Team used their typical means of communication with the jailbreak community to announce the latest update to Sileo — that is the dedicated, Discord channel:

From what we can gather, Sileo v2.2.3 brings the following changes over the previous release:

– Remove option to reinstall packages that have no repo (local installs)
– Fix apt cannot find errors
– Fix UICache behavior
– Fix package resolving for packages that provide
– Mac: Fix crash on launch
– Fix incorrect version numbers in installed packages

Given that this is a run-of-the-mill quality-improvement update, it’s recommended for all users who plan to use Sileo as their package manager on a regular basis. This is generally the case for Odyssey, Odysseyra1n, and Taurine users alike, however Sileo can now be installed on any jailbreak, so it may also apply to other jailbreakers.

As always, Sileo will be available for existing users upon launching the package manager and refreshing your sources.
