Gameloft’s super-popular arcade racing title, Asphalt 8: Airborne, has received a major holiday-themed update in the App Store today, bringing out tons of new content. For the first time ever, the Lamborghini Egoista makes an appearance, not just in Asphalt but in any video game for that matter. You can unlock this amazing car, as well as the exclusive McLaren 570, Mercedes SLK 5 and more, in the new racing events starting December 18.
Originally teased earlier in the month, Siegefall, a brand new multiplayer strategy game involving heroes, dragons and magic, is now available in the App Store for your iPhone and iPad at no charge.
Brough to you by Gameloft Montreal, the team behind the wildly praised Modern Combat shooter series, Siegefall sports gorgeous graphics with stylized art while striving to bring some innovation to the genre with wild controllable heroes and immense magical cards.
Players are challenged to build an army of heroes, summon dragons, conquer new lands, smash gates and leave nothing but rubble behind.
In addition to teasing Siegefall, its gorgeous-looking online multiplayer strategy game hitting iOS soon, Gameloft has also updated its two popular iPhone and iPad games with tons of new features in latest content updates.
For starters, a whole range of new Spideys are now available in Spider-Man Unlimited for the iPhone and iPad, in addition to official support for ‘Made for iPhone’ controllers and a bunch of other improvements.
At the same time, the popular first-person shooter Modern Combat 5: Blackout has gained new weapons and customization options, including weapon trinkets, weapon camps and several new killsigns.
Ahead of next week’s annual Electronic Entertainment Expo bonanza in Los Angeles, French games maker Gameloft is teasing Siegefall, its forthcoming mobile game from the same team that brought you the first four installments of Modern Combat, the popular first-person shooter franchise. In Siegefall, you arrive in a realm where battles are being fought over lands and crowns.
While full details are yet to be released, we know that Siegefall will let you summon dragons, control heroes, smash gates and “leave nothing but rubble behind.”
Asphalt 8: Airborne, Gameloft’s free-to-play arcade racing title for the iPhone and iPad, today received a major content update in the App Store. The game has gained a number of new cars, tracks and loads of other improvements, amongst them support for the Apple Watch and a widget for the iOS Notification Center.
Asphalt 8 was first to support Metal, Apple’s new graphics framework in iOS 8 that makes graphics intensive games run smoother with more effects. Now Gameloft provides the latest Asphalt update as a 64-bit application that should run even faster on iPhones and iPads powered by Apple’s A7 chip or newer.
In addition to going free for the first time (regularly a $4 value), a barrage of new features have been added to Modern Combat 5 in a brand new Spring update to Gameloft’s excellent war shooter (an App Store Best of 2014).
Now available in the App Store, Modern Combat 5: Blackout version 1.2 finally supports ‘Made for iPhone’ game controllers, both form-fitting and extended variants.
There’s a brand new multiplayer mode available called Zone Control in which you must capture and defend areas to boost your score. Other improvements include new weapons and character classes and additional character customization.
Last night, French games maker Gameloft released Dungeon Hunter 5, a new installment in its Diablo-like mobile RPG series. Previewed back in January, the iPhone and iPad hack ‘n’ slash game features single-player campaign through five realms and numerous dungeons.
If you’d rather play with friends, you can enjoy action in co-operative gameplay mode, engage in daily and weekly events or challenge friends in asynchronous multiplayer.
This morning, French games maker and publisher Gameloft pushed out an update to Asphalt 8: Airborne, its arcade-y racer for the iPhone and iPad.
The download brings out car decals (the most requested feature) and five new Ferrari sports cars that Gameloft says you’ll be able to drive “soon”. On top of that, the garage has been redesigned from the ground up and there are new car collections to enjoy now.
The update is available now on iOS and is coming soon on Android and Windows 8.
If you’re crazy about dragons, are blood-thirsty and mildly interested in pet simulation games, Gameloft’s Dragon Mania Legends should be at the top of your list.
Released today as a free-to-play download for the iPhone and iPad, the game challenges you to breed, feed, raise and train your dragons before testing their skills in three-on-three battles to fight the invading Vikings.
Developed by Gameloft’s Budapest, Hungary based studio, Dragon Mania Legends features really, really nicely done cartoonish 3D graphics and a batch of compelling features that should keep dragon lovers glued to their screens.
Announced back in June, Gameloft’s Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War has arrived today in the App Store. A free-to-play download for the iPhone and iPad, this sequel to Gameloft’s World War 2 series is packed to the gills with blood-pumping action and eye-candy visuals.
You’re Sergeant Wright and lead a band of highly trained brothers through World War 2.
Your brothers in arms posses a range of special abilities that, if used appropriately, can easily make all the difference in the heat of battle. Players can improve their squadmates’ skills to fight back against the enemy, upgrade their weapons and more.
Gameloft, the prolific maker of mobile games hailing from France, on Wednesday launched the first content update to its award-winning Modern Combat 5: Blackout shooter for the iPhone and iPad and boy is it massive. Saying the update brings a whole bunch of rich content and goodies to the already well-rounded experience would be a gross understatement.
Now available on both iOS and Android, the feature-packed update brings two of the most beloved multiplayer maps from Modern Combat 3 and 4, several new multiplayer leagues for solo and squad battles, a new Rematch button for squad battles, the ability to vote for the next map in multiplayer, new area of effect skill for each soldier class, additional battle packs, amusing seasonal goodies for Christmas and much more.
And if that wasn’t enough, in celebrating the update Gameloft has temporarily slashed MC5 to four bucks, with the discount reflected in the App Store later today.
