T-Mobile ad disses the iPhone 4S on AT&T’s network

As T-Mobile USA is getting ready to roll out an iPhone-compatible HSPA+ 19000 MHz network later this year (they already host more than a million iPhones on their network), the long overdue iPhone-friendly network expansion isn't stopping them to take potshots at Apple's smartphone and rival AT&T.

Their latest commercial, a part of the broader campaign dubbed 'Alter Ego', likens the speed of an iPhone 4S on the AT&T network to an ordinary motorcycle, which gets overtaken in a blink of a second by a badass 1000cc Ducati motorcycle....

Apple rolls out new iPhone, iPad in business websites

When Apple first launched the iPhone back in 2007, it completely ignored the enterprise market. Heck, the handset didn't even get exchange support until mid-2008.

But that's definitely not the case now, as Apple's smartphone has made great strides in enterprise over the last 5 years. And the company continues to push with its new 'iOS in business' websites...

Samsung teaser for the upcoming Galaxy SIII likens iPhone users to iSheep

Apple's frenemy Samsung is gearing up for the upcoming Mobile Unpacked 2012 event due May 3 in London. In order to pique interest, the company posted a new YouTube advert teasing its upcoming third-generation Galaxy smartphone.

The device is aimed at stealing the spotlight from Apple's sixth-generation iPhone due later this year. As has been the case with Samsung's advertising as of late, it subtly likens iPhone users to mindless sheep, but doesn't refer them directly.

Instead, the clip wraps up with a line suggesting the Galaxy III smartphone helps one stand out from everyone else, spiced up with an image of sheep. As the iPhone is the iconic handset by the world's top smartphone maker, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out to whom 'everyone else' refers to.

Well, the fireworks are over, but the fun stuff is just beginning. Like always, Apple has posted the very first TV spot for their new product on their website, and it promotes the iPad's most compelling new feature.

Indeed, the Retina display plays front man in Apple's new TV spot, as it should; it looks stunning. I think they did a really good job of showing off how incredible the display looks.

Ads are coming to Twitter for iPhone

Two years ago, Twitter introduced 'Promoted Products', which are essentially ways for companies to advertise across the Twitter platform and gives Twitter the ability to make revenue. Companies can sign-up for Promoted Accounts, Tweets, and Trends as a way to bring notice to their service.

Today, Twitter announced that their iPhone app will start featuring Promoted Products. The advertising service was included in the latest Twitter for iOS update released last week. The Twitter crew will start sending out more Promoted Tweets, Accounts, and Trends to mobile devices over the next few weeks...

Apple releases two new TV ads focused on Siri

With any new product launch, Apple is known for their creative television advertising for almost every one of their products. Apple has already released a slew of advertisements for the iPhone 4S and Siri, showing how handy the personal assistant really is.

Tonight, 9to5mac points us to two new TV ads being aired by Apple. The thirty second advertisements show off Siri, and are titled "Road Trip" and "Rock God"...

Amazon goes on the offensive with new Kindle Fire ad

Amazon has gone on the offensive in the company's battle for tablet supremacy by taking a price-powered swipe at its only real competition - the iPad.

The ad, which follows similar Kindle ads we have seen by showing a young lady in a bikini reading a book, shows both the new Kindle e-reader and the Android-powered Kindle Fire in use, while taking a stab at the iPad's lofty price.

Needless to say Amazon's iPad alternatives come up trumps in the new 30-second spot, with one poor chap finding himself shot down in more than one way when he approaches the woman in question...

Santa Claus Uses Siri in Latest iPhone 4S TV Ad

Even though the feature is still in beta, Apple has been showcasing Siri in its TV ads since the iPhone 4S came out. The reason behind this is that Siri is probably the main selling point for Apple's latest iPhone.

In a new TV ad that has started airing today, we see Santa Claus himself using Siri to help him go through his busy day and night. It's cute. It's funny. It's yet another Apple commercial that hits right on target...

New Best Buy TV Ad Touts iPad and Other Apple Products

Judging by recent events, Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch may be more popular than ever before. Not only did it record its biggest sales day ever during Black Friday last week, but it was also among the top 5 most visited retail chains.

In fact, you don't have to look any further than Best Buy's recent holiday commercial to gauge the level of the company's popularity. The retailer has been an authorized Apple dealer for years, and it wants to make sure everyone knows that this holiday season...

Apple Airs Commercials Featuring iCloud, Siri, iPhone 4S Camera

With each new product release, Apple launches a whole new advertising campaign around whatever fancy new features have been added, and the iPhone 4S is no exception.

Starting today, Apple is airing three new ads to help spread the word about the "most amazing iPhone yet." The 30-second spots feature iCloud, Siri, and the supercharged 8 megapixel camera packed into the iPhone 4S. And in typical Apple fashion, we're not sure where real products end and the hype machine begins...
