Both online and brick-and-mortar Apple Stores around the country are about to drop subsidies for iPhone models sold through carrier AT&T. Moreover, Apple is said to increase trade-in price value of older iPhone models just a little bit, according to a pair of reports Monday (here and here) by 9to5Mac.
Beginning this month, trade-in values for iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s models will increase by $15, or $25 in the case of used iPhone 5s devices.
The ability to snap windows side-by-side has been one of my most missed features since switching from Microsoft Windows years ago. Fortunately, there have been quite a few apps over the years that have provided window snapping on the Mac.
One such app, HyperDock, has been my go-to app of sorts for managing windows on OS X. Another app, BetterSnapTool, is also popular among Mac users for window management.
But today, Sebastien made me aware of yet another window management tool. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, because I've I didn't see how anything could be much better than HyperDoc for my needs, but I stand corrected.

Nintendo's next-generation console codenamed NX, which the company is currently developing, is going to use Android if a report Monday by Nikkei, one of Japan’s largest newspapers, is anything to go by.
According to one insider who spoke with Nikkei, the Nintendo NX will supposedly be built around the Android OS, which should help “speed up getting all game developers on board.”
It would also mean that development could be expanded to smartphones, tablets and other devices, this person added.
Though designed in California, the vast majority of Apple's products are being assembled in China using parts predominantly provided by the vast network of suppliers from Taiwan.
But that may be changing now as Japanese manufacturers are reportedly making a concerted effort to secure more iPhone orders from Apple, according to DigiTimes on Monday.

WeatherPeek, an upcoming jailbreak tweak from the AtomDevTeam, does something pretty cool—it allows you to use a simple "peek" gesture while on the first Home screen page to see current and upcoming weather info for a designated area. BlurryLaunch is a simple new jailbreak tweak that adds a a smooth blur effect to the app-launching animation. The tweak, which is available for download free of charge from Cydia, includes several blur themes to add custom colors to the launch animation as well. The iPhone 6 boasts Apple's most impressive mobile camera to date. As part of the campaign to show off the newly developed technology, Apple created a "Shot on iPhone 6 World Gallery" on its webpage. The gallery includes many stunning photos of different subjects, three of which are highlighted in today's Wallpapers of the Week section.

The last time I saw that many tweaks released during a single week probably was months ago. It's fair to say things have been pretty quiet on the jailbreak side for a while, so it's definitely refreshing to see such a busy week.
None of these tweaks will change your life, but they will certainly make your iOS experience that much enjoyable. After all, isn't that one of the reasons we jailbreak in the first place?
I like to think of myself as a power user when it comes to my apps and devices, and although that term isn't always applicable, I’ve spent hours in Workflow trying to craft recipes that will save me precious seconds later on, and I enjoyed doing so if for nothing other than the self-satisfaction when I get to run a handmade workflow and watch it perform beautifully.
