The trend that started about 3 weeks ago is getting more obvious as we enter yet another week with a slower output of tweak releases. I'm not necessarily complaining. I'm merely highlighting a trend that we all hope won't be confirmed in the following weeks.

If Twitter and Tinder could mate, they'd probably give birth to something close to Twindr, a new app that aims to clean up your Twitter feed by allowing you to quickly unfollow accounts. The concept is pretty simple. After authorizing the app to get access to your Twitter account, you will be presented with cards of accounts you follow. Swipe right to keep following. Swipe left to unfollow.
TL;DR Email is a new app that aims to keep your emails short and your inbox shorter at the same time. By default, the app will display only the first 30 words of incoming emails in a card-lie format, giving you enough of an overview to figure out what you want to do with the message. Swipe right to archive, swipe left to postpone it to later, or you can of course see the full message, reply to it, or even put it in a folder if needed.
Apple and Samsung might be sharing the crown for top smartphone maker, with both companies reportedly shipping 74.5 million units in the last quarter, there are still wide discrepancies between the financials of the two giants. While Apple is reaching new heights following the record-smashing financial results for the last quarter it reported on Tuesday, Samsung is reaching new lows as its mobile division is crumbling to turn a profit, a situation that is the result of two very different strategies.
I currently have two machines running Yosemite: one is a brand new Retina iMac, and the other is an older MacBook Air. Both these machines have been feeling incredibly slow in regards to general animations of the User Interface. One obvious way to test this is to bring up Exposé, which then turns both my Macs into stuttering slugs. I don't think anyone takes more screenshots than an Apple blogger. They're particularly convenient when doing an app review where you want to illustrate the post with proper screenshots showing the app in action. Oftentimes, we like to put screenshots side by side to give an even better overview of the app, which isn't always a straightforward task.
