The trailer shows Spy Mouse himself, Agent Squeak, traversing obstacles and risking life and limb, all under your control. Featuring 72 levels, spread across 6 worlds, Spy Mouse promises to have enough depth to keep us all coming back for more...

South Korea Fines Apple $2,855 Over Locationgate

It seems Locationgate just won't go away, with Apple being fined 3 million Won, or $2,855, by the country's communications regulator.

The fine relates to the infamous storage of iOS device's location in an unencrypted file on the computer they were synced to. Using this data, it was possible to plot people's movements on a map, causing mass hysteria, panic and general confusion. This file was discovered back in April, with seemingly the whole planet baying for Apple's collective blood.

Apple later released an update to its iOS software that addressed the issue, but the damage was done...

iCloud.com Now Syncing With iOS 5 and iWork Apps

Apple's new iCloud service has taken another step towards its publish launch, with the combination of a new iCloud website and beta versions of the iOS iWork apps meaning cross-device syncing is almost here.

The new iCloud.com website offers users the chance to download saved documents for offline use, such as printing. And it also gives them the chance to upload your own iWork-compatible content, and then iCloud can push it out to iDevices using the same account.

Oh, and those iDevices? Syncing works from them too...

Chinese iPhone 5 “Clone” Shown Off in Video, May Be a Glimpse of the Real Thing?

A new video has appeared online which appears to show off one of the many Chinese iPhone clones available, but this one is a little different.

The knock-off in this particular video is an iPhone 5 clone, and while it's obviously a fake, rather than a pre-production sample, is it possible that this handset could give us a sneak peak at what we can expect the be lining up for in a few short weeks?

As BGR points out, that might not be as strange a proposition as it first appears...

Make Your iPad 2 Look Just Like a Nintendo Gameboy

Those of a certain age will remember the good old days of the Nintendo Gameboy. The 3DS and DS' Grandfather was a boxy, black and white (well, more green, actually) affair, none of this headache-inducing 3D whizz-bangery here.

If you remember the device in question and don't think I've finally lost the plot, then you might just like an upcoming iPad 2 case, courtesy of Lootiful.

As with Lootiful's iPhone 4 case, the iPad equivalent offers protection from bumps and scratches while presenting a retro appeal for those of us old  enough to remember the golden age of gaming...

iCloud-Enabled iWork Apps Now Available in Beta

Apple has released new beta versions of all its iOS iWork apps, with Pages, Keynote and Numbers all receiving the iCloud treatment.

The new releases, available for download now via the iOS Developer Portal, all now include Apple's new iCloud syncing features, giving developers a chance to test drive the apps before they see an official release.

All three apps are universal, meaning iPad, iPhone and iPod touch owners will be able to download and install them...

‘Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions’ to Hit The App Store Thursday

The eagerly awaited Final Fantasy Tactics will finally make its way to iOS this Thursday, according to a post on the Square Enix Europe blog.

The news signals the end of a long wait for European gamers. The title, original available on Sony's Playstation console, never saw a European release, meaning this iPhone version will be the first time that some fans of the franchise have had a chance to get to grips with it.

A touch-enabled remake of the classic, "Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions" promises to be one of the hits of the year for iOS gaming fans...

MailKeyboardHide De-Clutters Your iPhone Compose Screen

Just last month we told you about SMSHideKeyboard, a jailbreak tweak that brought iOS 5-like SMS keyboard hiding to the jailbreak scene.

Today we have a similar tweak, but one that has a trick up its sleeve. Going by the name of MailKeyboardHide, this slight variation of SMSHideKeyboard offers the ability to hide the iPhone's keyboard during the composition of emails.

And it also does more than that...

The iPhone Now Dominates the Skies

According to new a figure coming out of in-flight WiFi provider GoGo, Apple's iPhone makes up two thirds of mobile device usage in the skies. The iPhone's smaller sibling, the iPod touch, also accounts for a massive 20% of those using a small-screened device to access the internet while in the sky.

It's not such good news for Google's Android, however. According to an AllThingsD report, despite there being more different Android devices than there are people on the planet, (perhaps a slight exaggeration) devices powered by Google's operating system make up a paltry 12% of mobile devices used...

InstantCam Helps Take iPhone Photos Quickly

The iPhone 4 has a great camera, which makes it even more frustrating that the Camera app is just so damn slow.

It's a common complaint. You spot the perfect photograph, but by the time you've tapped the icon, waited for the app to load, focussed, and finally hit the button to take the picture, the moment is gone.

IntantCam aims to stop that from happening, and it seems to work...
