Apple has announced that it is breaking out its iPad platform into its own standalone OS called...yep iPadOS. The move is a significant one, as it underlines how different the tablet is from its smartphone sibling, and the update brings about a number of new features and improvements.

watchOS 6 brings new Watch faces, apps and independence from iPhone

During its highly anticipated WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple announced watchOS 6 with a number of new features and improvements. Among those features are new watch faces, hourly audio chimes—such as birds chirping and streaming audio APIs. Apple has also added new apps such as Calculator and Audio Books, and helped the Watch gain further independence from the iPhone.
