Apple on Thursday added five new clips to the World Gallery films section of its 'Shot on iPhone 6' microsite. The company launched the Shot on iPhone 6 campaign in March, showcasing beautiful photos and videos taken with its latest smartphone.
The new videos are very similar to the previous entries, in that they are 15 seconds long and accompanied by an analogous soundtrack. They were captured by photographers from around the world, and show what the iPhone 6 is capable of.
Pull-to-refresh has become quite ubiquitous when it comes to iOS apps, and now Cydia can join in on the fun. The just released TweaksRefresher brings true pull-to-refresh functionality to Cydia.

As Cody told you a month ago, there's a new Star Wars mobile game in the works. It's called Star Wars: Uprising and set between the events of Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and the forthcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film.
Wednesday, publisher Kablam shared a new video giving us a good overview of Uprising's mechanics and overall gameplay.
Basically an action role-playing game, Uprising should release in a few weeks as a free-to-play download.

Some third-party repos, like Ryan Petrich's beta repo, are one of the first things I add after jailbreaking my iPhone. Other repos aren't nearly as necessary, but still nice to have available.

After CBS announced a month ago that it would soon appease cord-cutters by rolling out a standalone video-streaming service over the Internet, Re/code revealed Tuesday that the network's premium cable television service called Showtime is now available through the Apple TV, no cable subscription required.
The standalone video-streaming service is available on Apple's $69 media-streaming box in exchange for a flat monthly fee of $10.99 with iTunes billing. A free 30-day free trial is available provided you have set up a valid payment method in iTunes.
A matching iOS app is coming at a later stage.
It’s been a very long time since I made a post about jailbreak tweaks on the iPad, and as such, this post was long overdue. Although it’s nowhere near as popular as iPhone jailbreaking, iPad jailbreaks still have tons of perks. March 6, 2015. That was when I previewed Velox 2 on video. Needless to say it's been a long journey for this tweak, but it's finally available for purchase on Cydia.
Velox is a tweak that lets you access custom folders for apps that contain notifications, or access various functions pertaining to the app. Some apps, like the Settings app, feature a folder full of special functions. Other apps, apps that haven't been given special attention, simply show any available notifications.
The original Velox was easily one of my most anticipated Cydia tweaks, but in the end, it never quite lived up to the hype. That said, it's still a very popular tweak with lots of innovating features, and totally worth a look. Watch our video of Velox 2 for a reminder of what to expect.
A pretty huge change just happened to Cydia. In the version just released, version 1.1.19, the installer now runs as mobile instead of root. This means that Cydia Substrate tweaks can now modify Cydia.
This is really big news. It means that not only will existing tweak modifications remain working while Cydia is open, but it potentially means that a whole new class of tweaks become available for Cydia. Don't like Cydia's UI? There could be a tweak or a theme for that!
