Tiny Wings 2 set to hit iOS on July 12th

Back in May, Tiny Wings creator Andreas Illiger told reporters that the world could expect a sequel to his popular mobile game "within 3 weeks." But those 3 weeks came and went, and we haven't heard a peep.

Then yesterday, Illiger finally broke the silence by releasing a Tiny Wings 2 teaser trailer. And while the video doesn't give much information away regarding the game, we have to admit, it's pretty fun to watch...

Court of Appeals suspends Galaxy Nexus injunction, upholds Tab ban

There have been some significant developments in the Samsung v. Apple patent dispute case this afternoon. The last we heard, Apple had won U.S. injunctions on both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and the Galaxy Nexus, and motions to stay those orders had been denied.

Samsung's last hope was for the Washington D.C.-based Court of Appeals to get involved, as it has jurisdiction over all IP proceedings. And it looks like it has made its decision on both cases this afternoon, ruling to uphold one ban, and suspend the other...

Apple rectifies App Store updating glitch

Over the last 48 hours, the App Store has been suffering from a glitch that has been causing some newly-updated apps to crash upon opening. The bug has been a nightmare for developers, who have been taking a lot of heat over the issue.

Yesterday, Apple acknowledged the problem, and confirmed that it had a dedicated team working to resolve it. And it didn't take long, last night the company started sending out official statements that the updating glitch has been repaired...

T-Mobile confirms network upgrade won’t affect legacy data plans

Over the past few months, T-Mobile has been touting its plans to upgrade its wireless network to be more friendly with Apple's smartphone. Despite not being an official partner, the carrier sees a lot of business from unlocked iPhone users.

The upgrade, which allows iPhone users to enjoy 3G data speeds, has already started rolling out to a handful of areas. So that has some T-Mobile subscribers wondering, will they get to keep their old data plans on the new, faster network?

Bloomberg says iTunes will receive major makeover by year’s end

iOS 6 beta 2 brings back ‘Enable 3G’ toggle

Apple pushes out iOS 6 beta 2 to developers [updated]

Apple has started pushing out iOS 6 beta 2 to developers this morning. It doesn't appear to be available on the company's dev site yet, but we are seeing it hit our devices via OTA.

We're installing the update now and will let you know if we spot any changes in the new software. One minor difference we've noticed already, is that the gears in the icon (shown above) now spin during installation.
