Throughout the year 2020, Apple TV+ was on a bit of a tear announcing new projects and first-look signings. But the whole entertainment industry was rattled by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, including Apple. So while many projects probably could have seen the light of day in 2021, that didn't end up happening. So now it's a bit of an avalanche.
