After my last few screenshots and videos, I've received numerous questions on Twitter, via email, and via the comments section about my status bar icons. More specifically, people are dying to know how I was able to get those cool-looking Android L-inspired cellular signal and Wi-Fi signal icons.
These icons are added to the status bar by means of a WinterBoard theme downloadable for free from Cydia. In this post, I'll show you how you can add them to your iPhone.
Last night, saurik surprised us by releasing Cydia 1.1.19. This latest version of Cydia no longer runs as root, but as mobile. While that may seem ambiguous, this means that Cydia can now come under the influence of Cydia Substrate tweaks. In other words, developers can now produce jailbreak tweaks that work on Cydia.

Noir, by Roberto Alvarez (@0phicleide) was born out of his desire to have a clean-looking minimalist theme that would be updated regularly. He started out theming the icons for free tweaks at first, and has plans on moving to paid apps as they're requested.
Great standout tweaks seem to be few and far between as of late, but the developer of Aeuria LS obviously has other thoughts about the matter. Aeuria LS is an original and wonderful-looking Lock screen tweak for jailbroken devices, that presents the current time in a unique manner.
Conceptualized by Zach Williams and programmed by Bryce Pauken, Aeuria LS is one of the best looking jailbreak tweaks that I've seen in a while. It brings a Lock screen clock interface to the iPhone that features customizations by clock type, time format, clock face font, color, blur, and more.

QuartzSettings is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to customize the appearance of the Settings app. Using one of the three built in themes, or by using the tint from your iPhone's wallpaper, you can give the Settings app a significantly more exciting look. Vex, an upcoming jailbreak tweak that will soon be available on the BigBoss repo for $0.99, will let users add themes to both Control Center and Notification Center on iOS. The tweak, which features a host of themes for both interfaces, will even play nice with Auxo Legacy Edition once its released.
Lithium is a brand new jailbreak tweak that adds a themed battery indicator to iOS 8. A similar tweak with a similar name, Alkaline, already exists on the Cydia store, and Lithium pretty much replicates the feeling of that tweak.
While some users report that Alkaline works perfectly on their iOS 8 device, it's never worked without a visual glitch on my iPhone 6 Plus. For that reason, I'd be up for trying Lithium on an extended basis.
