Apple begins iPhone 6s production in India

Apple has begun production on the iPhone 6s in India. This is the second Apple handset after the iPhone SE to be manufactured in the second most populous nation in the world. The Economic Times says this move will help Apple avoid paying import duties in the country. 

AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile will charge $10 per month for cellular Apple Watch service

With some Apple Watch Series 3 models gaining cellular support, the big unknown from Apple's event was the cost of that add-on to users' existing phone plans. We've now had that answer as AT&T and Verizon have revealed to The Street that they will both charge $10 per month. T-Mobile also confirmed to iDB reader Matthew M. that the carrier will also be charging $10 per month.

While the iPhone X stole the show at today's event, Apple also unveiled cheaper new handsets in the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. They too feature some nice upgrades from their predecessors, including wireless charging and the new A11 processor.

Apple's next-generation iPhone X is packed full of advanced features like Face ID and an edge-to-edge OLED Super Retina display, and it can be yours for as little as $999. Yes as the rumors predicted, the handset's starting price tag comes in at just under $1,000. That's for the 64GB version, there is also a 256GB version that will set you back $1,149.

Your only color choices will be silver and space gray, and you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone X beginning October 27. The handset will actually be in stores on November third. Here is a list of the countries where will be initially available:
