SwiftKey rolls out rich Emoji Insights in new update

Right on cue, makers of the popular SwiftKey software keyboard for iPhones, iPads and iPods today rolled out a new feature designed to provide a valuable insight into which emoji symbols you use the most as your unique writing style and the emoji you use more than other people.

The app will even tell you which US state most reflects your emoji use. Called Emoji Insights, the new typing statistics shows you detailed highlights of your emoji use.

New KeySwipe jailbreak tweak lets you switch between keyboards with a swipe

 

I don't know about you, but I find it kind of tedious to switch between keyboards on iOS. I find it tedious, because have to tap that little language button, which requires a precise tap on the keyboard.

Instead, wouldn't it be nice if you could just perform a simple swipe gesture to switch between the keyboards that you have configured? A new tweak called KeySwipe lets you do just that.

Logitech announces three new ‘Logi BLOK’ protective cases for iPads

Accessory maker Logitech on Wednesday introduced the world to its all-new family of protective case, shell and keyboard cases for Apple's iPad. Called Logi BLOK, the latest accessories offer protection from drops up to six feet high and onto surfaces as hard as concrete. The lineup is comprised of the Logi BLOK Protective Shell, the Logi BLOK Protective Case and the Logi BLOK Protective Keyboard Case.

After announcing a new branding strategy earlier this month, today marks first Logitech products to have been released under the new Logi brand. All three accessories will be available for purchase in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and across select European markets in August.

SwipeSelection and SwipeSelection Pro receive official bug fix updates

A few days ago, we reported about an unofficial version of SwipeSelection that fixed a longstanding issue with using the tweak inside of Safari. After the attention brought about by that unofficial version, the original developer of SwipeSelection has pushed an update to both the standard and Pro versions of his landmark tweak.

Disney launches new GIF keyboard app for iOS

Disney this week launched a new keyboard app for iOS called "Disney Gif." As the name suggests, the app allows you to browse through, and quickly share from, a library of animated GIF images and emoji icons featuring Disney content.

For its launch, the keyboard features hundreds of images pulled from Disney's expansive TV and movie collection, including Star Wars, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Inside Out, The Lion King and various hit television shows from ABC.
