Upcoming Jailbreak Tweak Lets You Tweet With Siri

It was only a matter of time, but the inevitable has finally happened. Even though you could already use this workaround to send status updates to Twitter using Siri, you can now tweet with Siri courtesy of an upcoming jailbreak tweak.

The yet to be named tweak is making its way around the blogosphere, and should be released to the public in the very near future.

We're pretty impressed by how accurate tweeting with Siri actually is, but that should be expected since Siri is very precise when it comes to dictation.

Apple Now the Top Smartphone Manufacturer in the World

Earlier today we told you that iPhones made up over half of Verizon's smartphone sales last quarter, making Apple the top smartphone manufacturer on one of the world's largest wireless carriers.

But given Apple's record-breaking financial report today, it's achievements go far beyond that. With nearly 40 million iPhone's sold last quarter, Apple just became the top smartphone-maker in the world...

Apple Smashes Expectations and Reports Record Financial Results for Last Quarter

After missing expectations during the third quarter last year, all eyes were on Apple in 2011's Q4. Tim Cook and company made seemingly impossible projections for the three month period, and everyone has been watching to see if Apple could deliver.

Well the results are in today, and not only did Apple meet its own lofty expectations, but it blew every metric out of the water. For example, it predicted it would sell 30 million iPhones. And it actually sold 37 million. Keep reading for the full report...

Over Half of the Smartphones Verizon Sold Last Quarter Were iPhones

Verizon announced its quarterly figures for the end of 2011, with the iPhone effect in full swing for the America's largest mobile phone carrier.

Despite tough competition from both AT&T and Sprint, Verizon saw its best figures for subscriber additions for three years, with an extra 1.5 million customers now on board.

With 4.2 million iPhones reportedly shipped during the same period it isn't too far a stretch to suggest that Apple's smartphone may well have helped Verizon along in that achievement...

Photo Booth Ported to the iPhone 4S

When Apple released the iPad 2 last year, the company boasted its new dual-core processor and front and rear-facing cameras. These improvements to the iPad 2 meant that App Store developers could release more elaborate and intensive applications for the tablet. Apple also took advantage of the opportunity themselves by launching a native Photo Booth application for the iPad 2.

Despite having nearly the same specifications as the iPad 2, including a dual-core processor and higher megapixel cameras, Apple chose not to include an iPhone version of Photo Booth on the iPhone 4S. But, that's all about to change...
