Another Theory on Why Siri is Limited to the iPhone 4S

When Apple announced that its new Siri assistant would only be available on the iPhone 4S last October, it caused quite a commotion in the iOS community. It meant that millions of iOS users, even those who recently purchased new devices, would have to go without the feature.

We've heard a couple of theories on why Apple chose to make Siri 4S-only, including the need for a solid selling point for its new handset, and the fact that it's still in beta. But according to a recent CNET report, it's all about the processor...

It's been a good day for Cydia releases. Not long after RingerX VIP was released comes MyAssistant (formerly called MySiri). MyAssistant brings a gang of new customization options to Siri; everything from custom conversations to toggles, Activator events, and more.

Siri Gets its Groove On in New Flaming Lips Song

Siri gets around a bit these days. If Apple's virtual assistant isn't starring in an episode of the Big Bang Theory then it's making music, with The Flaming Lips deciding to give Siri a shot at laying down the vocals for a new experimental song.

Called "Now I Understand," the track also features the voice of Erykah Badu alongside Siri, with the result being an interesting one to say the least.

Experimental is possibly the best way we can describe this song, though it does have a certain charm to it...
