For the first time since its launch in the US, the iPad 2 is now shipping within 24 hours. Soon after its official release in the US, the iPad wouldn't ship under 2 weeks. It got slightly better over time, and shipping time finally got cut to 1-3 days a couple weeks ago.

With the rumor of an iPad 3 floating around, it might be a wise thing to hold on to your iPad at this time. The iPad 3 might very well be better as a more expensive "pro" version, but if I were you, I'd wait to see what Apple is up to...
