The premium leather Nodus iPhone case collection

The smell is what first grabs you. After receiving several Nodus items since their inception in 2013, it is the smell, every time, that first catches my senses. Maybe, it is the long trip across the pond from the UK that lets the leather scent build up in the box. Cracking open the package on any Nodus Collection item springs forth the best premium leather smell you will find on an iPhone case.

Certainly, there are many other things that make the Nodus line exceptional, but you can tell the attention to detail by smelling the quality of leather. It is something that should not be overlooked, when investing in a nice case.

Having attended CES for the last three years and milling over case after case, this is truly something incredible. It is leaps and bounds above Apple's similar leather cases. Step inside for your next iPhone case purchase and a great Black Friday special discount.

Swarm by Foursquare brings expanded 3D Touch gestures, plus new Always, Nearby or Mute settings

Foursquare's dedicated location check-in app, Swarm for iPhone, was among the first third-party apps to implement support for 3D Touch, allowing you to quickly check-in to places simply by pressing the app's Home screen icon firmly and choosing the Check In shortcut.

In its most recent update that launched in the App Store today, Swarm brought out expanded support for 3D Touch gestures with Peek and Pop on other people's check-ins.

This edition of Swarm also includes expanded mute options and lets you earn even more virtual coins when you add certain stickers to your check-ins.

These hacks enable custom Apple Watch faces and 3D Touch gestures on iPad Pro via Apple Pencil

watchOS 2, the operating system powering Apple's wearable gizmo, includes support for third-party complications on select watch faces designed to support them.

But as far as watch faces themselves go, users are limited to a handful of built-in styles as Apple's software development kit (SDK) doesn't allow for downloadable watch faces yet.

As it turns out, a quick hack that prolific iOS developer Hamza Sood posted on Twitter back in August (no, it didn't fly under our radar) gets around Apple's limitations and permits unofficial development and installation of custom faces for Apple's wearable device.

And earlier this morning, Sood also posted another hack which brings 3D Touch Peek and Pop gestures to the iPad Pro via the Apple Pencil's pressure sensing technology.

Vine rolls out Apple Watch app and new ways to discover and watch videos

A Vine complication is available as well so you can track your account's loops and access the native app from your watch face. In addition to the Apple Watch app, this edition of Vine includes features that make it easier to make and discover audio remixes on the service and more.

App Drawer is a new jailbreak tweak that adds an Android-inspired application drawer to jailbroken iPhones. This is a good tool for those of you who want to view all of your installed iOS applications in one place, not scattered amongst multiple Home screen pages or within folders.

The iPhone-only jailbreak tweak is compatible with iOS 8 and iOS 9, and isn't yet compatible with jailbroken iPads, though support for the iPad is said to be in the cards. Have a look as we break down the features that App Drawer brings to the table.
