Having used the physical journal for several months, I can definitely witness some positive changes in my life, which are ultimately making me happier. Now with the release of the iPhone app, I can bring my journal with me on the go, and I don't even have to remember to bring my pen along

Satechi Aluminum Stand review: a great charging dock for your iPhone or iPad mini

For the last several years, I have been using a Twelve South HiRise as the main charging dock for my iPhone on my desk. I just like the simplicity of it, in both design and function, but the Satechi Aluminum Charging Stand is a serious contender that I've had the pleasure to use for the past week or so.

Quick thoughts on the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro

Successfully transitioning from a Mac or PC to an iPad depends largely on what you need it for, and how far you're willing to go out of your way to make it work. Personally, I've always doubted the iPad can be a replacement for a Mac, at least for what I do, as I'm sure some people have successfully made the switch without looking back.

This said, I'm not really looking at the iPad Pro as a laptop replacement. To me, it's still a tablet that I will mostly use to read and reply to emails, browse the web, check Twitter, and catch up with my RSS feed. However, I have started to get out of my comfort zone and try to do simple work-related tasks on it, just to put the Pro moniker to the test.

It's in this state of mind that I will share my first impressions of this new iPad with you. It's not a review per say. There are dozens of these reviews online, many of them very detailed. Instead, I will share some quick thoughts and remarks about my first few days with this new iPad.

I might be a little late to the party, but after spending a week out of the country, I finally returned home last night and got to have a look at three Woven Nylon bands I had ordered for my Stainless Steel Apple Watch: I have the Black, Royal Blue, and Gold/Royal Blue, all in the 42mm version.

In this post, I'll share some of my first impressions about these new bands. This is not a review per say, more like some quick thoughts.

Apple releases iOS 9.3.1 to fix web links crashing bug

Ten days after releasing iOS 9.3 to the public, Apple has released iOS 9.3.1 today to fix an issue where some devices would crash or become unresponsive after tapping on some web links. Holding build number 13E238, iOS 9.3.1 is available now via an over-the-air update or via iTunes to all devices capable of running iOS 9. It is also available for download now from our Downloads section.

Apple support document addresses activation issues some users may encounter after updating to iOS 9.3

Apple has released a support document Wednesday night to address an issue where some iOS users are unable to activate their devices after updating to iOS 9.3, a software version released earlier this week.

Most reports of the issue seem to come from iPad 2 owners, although a quick search online shows that some iPhone users were also affected. In this support document, Apple offers a few options to try and remedy the problem.
