Now, all that is left is for Apple to announce the media event. But as we get closer to the iPhone 5 unveiling, folks are pondering what do with their soon-to-be-old iPhones. Well, if you plan on selling your iPhone 4 online, you may want to do that in the near future...

AT&T to Start Rolling Out its LTE Network this Weekend

After several months of talking about it, AT&T finally seems ready to put up or shut up. On Sunday, the carrier plans on lighting up its new 4G LTE service in 5 major U.S. cities. The news does come with several asterisks though.

One, it's about a year late to the party. Verizon's had a live LTE network since last December. Two, the launch is tiny compared to Verizon's 39-city rollout. And three, there's not even a compatible smartphone available (yet)...

Apple Set to Discontinue iPhone 4 Bumper, Sign of a Redesign?

If the recent onslaught of iPhone 5 cases and other accessories haven't convinced you that Apple's new smartphone will feature a new design, maybe this will. 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple may be set to discontinue its infamous Bumper case.

The case originally debuted alongside the iPhone 4 last summer. And with earlier reports suggesting that the next iPhone will feature a similar design to its predecessor, it's a bit strange that the company is looking to drop the accessory...

All it takes is a quick look at one of the extensive comment threads of an iPhone-eccentric post to see that people have different opinions on iOS. But what you rarely see debated are its accessibility features.

Sprint CFO: Our Network is Ready for iPhone Traffic

We've had an inkling for months that Sprint would start offering the iPhone this Fall. Peculiar job listings, leaked memos, and even The Wall Street Journal have all contributed to the theory.

But Sprint itself has been relatively quiet on the subject (at least publicly), until now. Cnet relays comments, picked up by Fierce Wireless, made by the carrier's CFO yesterday in regards to the Sprint-bound iPhone...

Case-Mate Shows Off iPhone 5 Cases, These Could Be the Real Deal [Update]

Hot on the heels of the purported iPhone 5 screen protector surfacing this morning, BGR is reporting that more accessories have turned up in the next-generation iPhone department. Case-maker Case-Mate just unveiled 6 new iPhone 5 cases.

Sure, we've already seen several cases that are reportedly for Apple's next smartphone. But not from a company as well-known as Case-Mate. And the phone design depicted in the pictures is better looking than anything we've seen so far...

iPhone 5 Screen Protector Echoes Redesign Theory

With an official announcement from Apple expected in the next few weeks, the tech world at large still doesn't have any firm knowledge of details regarding the iPhone 5. Tim Cook's team has done an excellent job of concealing their plans.

But outside of concrete information, there has been a lot of purported leaked parts and accessories that all point to a similar redesign. And this morning, another puzzle piece surfaced that appears to confirm the change...

Apple Bans iPhone Story, a Game that Criticizes iPhone Production

If you haven't figured it out by now, Apple is very picky about applications it allows in its App Store. Even software that makes the cut can be removed at the drop of a hat if the company sees fit.

Apple's decision to reject and ban apps typically garners a fair amount of criticism from developers and the iOS community. And this time is no different. Hit the jump to see why Apple banned Molleindustria's iPhone Story...

Comic Pokes Fun at HTC’s Uncool iPhone Comments

For a company who's motto is Quietly Brilliant, they sure have (for the time being) a U.S. president that is loud and ignorant. The comments HTC's Martin Fichter made Monday about the iPhone being uncool are still echoing around the web.

For those of you who missed it, Fichter made some pretty wild accusations that the iPhone was becoming uncool, after speaking with some kids at his daughter's college. The comments set off an onslaught of criticism from tech pundits and Apple fans...

Epson Unveils All-in-One Projectors for iDevices

Good news for the folks that just can't wait for Apple to embed projectors into their iDevices. Epson, the well known printer-making company, just entered the iOS accessory space with a new line of portable projectors.

As reported by Macworld, the new video projectors resemble home theatre-style projectors, with one notable difference — an iDevice dock. That means that you can watch movies stored on your iPad or iPhone on a 100+ inch display...

iPhone 4 is Still the Thinnest Smartphone

In the world of smartphones, and mobile electronics in general, thin is in. No one wants to carry around a bulky device. That would defeat the purpose of calling them "portable."

With the iPhone 4, Apple took the "slim" concept and ran with it, dubbing it the world's thinnest smartphone. Ever wonder why, after 15 months, Apple still hasn't removed the claim? It's because it still stands...

Sprint-Flavored iPad Will be Ready for the Holidays

Sprint has been grabbing some major headlines lately. Most of it has been due to the evidence mounting over the past month or so suggesting that the wireless carrier has finally reached an agreement with Apple Inc. regarding its popular smartphone.

But according to 9to5Mac, the iPhone isn't the only Apple-flavored product that the operator will be offering up this Fall. Apparently, Sprint subscribers will also be able to purchase an iPad with the carrier's data service built-in...
